If we wanted to go to the 4 major parks (not including the water parks) for a total of 8 to 9 days, would it be wisest to just buy APs? Or is there a park hopper or some other combination of park hopper tickets that would work?

I am so confused!:confused:

Thanks for your help!::yes::

That's right where the breaking point is between using hoppers and the AP's. If you are going to be in the parks for 8 or 9 days OR there's any chance you'll get in a second trip within 12 mos., then definitely get the AP's. If there's no way you're going back AND you think you may end up NOT going to the parks one or two days, then get the 7-day hopper.

Also factor in these things:

*Are you planning to stay on property? You will probably be better off with the AP discount on the room.

*AP holders get FREE parking at all the parks. $8 x 9 days is $72 if you are staying off property. Factor that in too.

*AP holders get other discounts as well I believe - merchandise at some stores, etc.... AP holders can you help out with the details here?

I have read about the FITS passes, but does Disney have any hoppers that are 7 day hoppers for the 4 major parks? I know the 7 day park hopper plus includes 2 days for the water parks, but I don't want to go to the water parks.

I don't know if we would stay on property. We haven't in the past. But with DS on this trip, it might be fun to spend a few nights at AKL or somewhere else fun.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks for your help!

Well we fell in love with the Animal Kingdom Lodge so just for THAT discount it may be worth it.

Not sure about 7 day hoppers. Might want to call Disney and ask them.

We bought AP's for our upcoming trip because we'll be there for 8 days. But, we also live close enough to go down for a quick weekend here and there, so we'll definately get use out of them! If you decide to go with the 7 day PH's, I wouldn't buy them through Disney. Check out ticketmania.com or Orlandocheapster.com for better prices than Disney's.
