Not solo, but dh and I will be driving up to WDW April 22-25. We are staying at Pop Century. (My birthday is 4/27 but we couldn't take that time off work.)

Hello, I'm down here on a solo right now. The parks are mobbed with people - hit the parks first thing in the morning for short waits. The Fastpass is your friend.

This is my first solo and it's been pretty good. However, I do feel lonely at times and I probably wouldn't do a solo again.

I did a lot of people watching and from I observed, there were very solo people here. I'd say it's 95 couples and families.

Andrew there are some other threads to look at for meets. Sometimes you can see when others are going and do mini meets etc. There are lots of other threads too, but these are just a few you might want to check out.

How about a mini meet at AK on Saturday the 24th??? I asked Dan what he thought and he suggested on that morning outside the gate when the park opens. I checked the hours.. AK is open 9am-6pm that day. Will get more specific about the location of where to meet up after seeing who is interested.

I am definitely open for any meetings:
Here's a tentative schedule (DH hates schedules so who knows)

18th- AKL check-in (should be no later than 10AM); maybe hit the Poly for a Lapu Lapu-then EPCOT for DATW 'cuz I wanna hit the Cave
19th- MK but definitely back to EPCOT for 3:30 late luch ressies at Marrakesh; more DATW
20th-DHS (DH's 40th) for 3:30 Brown Derby ressies and Fantasmic (finally-never seen it)
21st- MK for rope drop, then maybe a monorail trip to GF and CR to have some drinks, but dinner ressies at Jiko's for our wedding anniversary
22nd- AK (It's my bday-I'm an Earth Day kid so thought it was appropriate) then DHS then Ohana's at 9:30 for dinner
23rd- EPCOT in the later day for 9PM ressies (and DATW) for Biergarten- before then, who knows
24th-gotta go home but haven't decided where to go until 1 PM (flight leaves at 5)

Not set in stone mind you-except for dinner, and even then I could cancel if the fancy strikes me (DH says I plan too much anyway)...and he's definitely laid back and relaxed and I am kooky and outgoing!

My first solo trip (DH will be busy at a convention) and I'm so excitied.

April 20 will be spent at MK and the 21st at Epcot - or vice versa, haven't decided yet.

Just returned from a one day visit to Disneyland with family, and there was sooo much I missed! I'm looking forward to taking my time to enjoy all of the little things in the parks!

Of course, time will be spent doing some shopping at DTD too.
