At our elementary school the kids learn about "life skills" -- positive attributes they encourage them to develop. I can tell that this waiting is teaching us PATIENCE and all the calling is showing PERSEVERANCE. It also helps to have a SENSE OF HUMOR...

Maybe I should go away. Last summer when everyone was waiting for the fall codes (me too!) I went camping for 2 days. Wouldn't you know it. . . when I got back they had gone out the first day I was away from the computer.

Nah, forget it. It's way too cold to go camping around here now.

We were looking at May 29-June 8. I called today and the CM said there was very little availability for our dates and that AKL is totally booked except for concierge. I'm not holding out a lot of hope for AP discounts this year. We have a resort view/balcony room at Swan for $169 so I think we're going to stick with that. We stayed there over Thanksgiving and their customer service was amazing.

Guess I am a newbie, but what are AP rates? I'm going in June, how do I get in on them?

Maybe that week is really busy because its memorial day weekend and gay days is the same week. Just guesing and hoping.

AP rates are offered to Annual Passholders. Holding just one of these AP's gets you a great room disount, when available. Sometimes the discounts are so good that it pays to buy an AP or two, even if you are only visiting once in the year.

Watch on these Boards to see when these rates are released. Should be any day now.

we go that week every year and have never seen any of the resorts full like that this far in advance.

This is terrible My husband calls - asks "What are you doing.?"... then laughs and says "I know, I know"... it's the disboards and a Diet Coke right?

I can't wait for these codes to come out - don't they realize how some of us are addicted to the boards?

You hit it on the head, sullins5!!! Only my husband isn't usually laughing... Have you tried the new Diet Coke with Lime?? I think it's terrific! I, too, am addicted to these boards, and I have recently become addicted to the lime Diet Coke, too!
Back to the subject--do they ever release codes on the weekends??

Bojangles.....I've been checking the DisneyWorld website for rates around that time just to see how rooms were filling up, since that's about when we're going, and for those exact dates, all catagories for the AKL show available. (May 29 - June 8). I'm pretty new to this board, and I love it!!!!, but maybe there are something I'm missing. I'm not sure how everything works, but I went through all the deluxe resorts (for those dates) and the availability looks pretty good on almost all of them. Am I doing something wrong??

i called to check on AP rates and was told the resorts were getting full for our travel dates and the only rooms available at AKL were concierge.
