April, May, June AP Watch. Let's Get it Started

I'm waiting also!!! :D

Have PC now and am hoping to upgrade to a moderate or WL or AKL! ::yes::

Let's hope they're released long before April. I don't think I can take the wait that long!!

Waiting here also...My dh and I have APs, but I have to get three parkhoppers for my granddaughters.
I have them waiting for me at my aaa office but I am putting off picking them up. I know that as soon as I do they are going to come out with that FTP and Ill wish I didnt.

Waiting here too. We have a WL room booked for the first week in May but I'm honestly wondering if we shouldn't just go ahead and rent DVC points for a studio at WLV. That would be around the same price as last year's AP rates. DH would prefer a "regular room" b/c of the views and daily mousekeeping. I'm just worried we'll cut it too close or they will do some other sort of package and not offer AP rates. When I made our current ressies the CM told me they had not heard anything about AP rates for that time period. :(

I am also waiting...I have a reservation(3rooms) @ PC for 4/16 - 4/25. The discount only goes to 4/17 right now and that only covers the first 2 nights of our stay. I would love to get an AP rate for the rest of my stay!! If the rate is good enough I may upgrade to a mod and shock the WHOLE family (DH & 6 kids!!!):sunny:

I hope we don't have to wait until the end of April. I hope the AP Gods can sprinkle a little Pixie Dust on all of us and the rates will be released sooner than last year....
Fingers crossed

Please help me out - as i am very new to the Disney boards.

Can someone explain what AP rates are? I'm going to book my family trip down to Disney very soon and would very much like to get a discounted rate! I'm going to book a moderate for end of June through beginning of July.

Thank you :wave2:

Charlie

dennisnlisa96.......I think the price you pay the first night of your stay is good for the entire reservation. Therefore you would be getting the AP rte for your whole stay.I know at Christmas we rushed to WDW so we could check in on Dec.26(the last day of the AP rate and that was the rate we paid for the entire stay.
We also have 6 kids.....I feel your pain:crazy:

cecamut,

AP rates are rates you get if you have an annual pass. If you dont have an annual pass you may get a discount if you have AAA. or sometimes they have codes for all people.
I would keep an eye on mousesavers.com they have all the updates on codes and sp. rates.
Good luck and enjoy your trip!

Here is the link..http://www.mousesavers.com/

Going June 3-7th, I haven't booked any rooms yet. Really hoping to stay FW or Cont. if there are AP rates. Otherwise, All stars or POR here we come!!. I'm thinking I should at least make a resie so I know we have a room.

Welcome Charlie - Disney provides discounts in several ways. there are codes that are published in newspapers that will give you a discount during certain periods. There are also Annual Pass (AP) codes for people who have annual passes. These rates are often better than the other discount codes so it may be worth it to purchase one AP (it can be a Childs AP) to get a reduced rate at a resort. You have to do the math to see if it is worth it for you. There are no codes or AP's out for June yet, but we are all waiting and hoping. Keep your eye on this Board and on mousesaver.com for them. Good luck.

2001 they came out by March
2002 they came out in Jan. Room only in Jan too.
2003 they came out in April but room only codes were released in Feb and March.

I'm hoping for very soon!

Bumping........anyone else call about AP rates for this timeframe?

Tess....another Buckeye here sending you some of that Cleveland style Pixie Dust!!!

We too are waiting for those AP rates.:scratchin

We have AAA waiting for our June 4 - 13th trip.

When I called and asked about AP rates the woman went into this long explanation about how I could make the ressie now and when AP rates come out, they can transfer with no problem.
I was rather surprised that she went to all that trouble to explain all that to me. It was a lot more information than I have ever gotten from any one before in regards to AP rates!

Anyway....hope it is soon and maybe we will all see each other !!

I am waiting for June rates - I thought it was a bit early, but I can always hope!

Thanks and right back atcha'! :goodvibes You can't have too much of that stuff--maybe it will keep us warm today--egads is it cold-- wind chill this a.m. is -10 to -20! :crazy2: June can't arrive quickly enough!

At this time of the year I look at my husband and ask Why did I ever move to MI?. . .while south western OH isn't that far removed, it's not quite this cold, typically--then again, it ain't Florida either! Oh yeah, I guess I moved to MI to be with him! :lovestruc It could be worse, we used to live way up north--close to the Bridge. . .now, that was a winter that lasted a good 9 months! :rotfl:

Stay warm all!

Just thought I would throw in my post for Buckeye Country. Grew up in Cleveland area and now living in Indiana. Since their are so many Ohio DISers, Disney should have a special Great Lakes AP discount. ;). Let's start a petition....
ADP :)

cdpa4d.......They did have an Ohio residents code a few years ago.....::yes::
I used it to get a really good rate at CBR....can't remember exactly what it was.....not quite as good as AP rates for then.
But we didn't have APs then........but now we do!:hyper:

Tess, every day between Halloween and Easter I ask myself....."Why are we still in OH??" That makes our trips to WDW that much more exciting......:hyper:
This January is a bad one.....going down to 3 tonight with wind chills below Zero!!:earseek: and only in the low teens tomorrow.

Now I'm wishing we planned a Feb. trip........:hyper:

Are AP rates out for April? We are AP newbies and I am planning a spur of the moment spring break trip (March 26-April 2). I pitched the trip to DH as a "Braves Spring Training Trip.";)

I'm with all you other N.E. Ohioans wishing we'd made a Feb. (or this time of the year trip). As I get older, I hate this weather more and more!!! June just seems so far away.:(
Hope everyone stays nice and toasty!!:sunny:
