I'm confused. I currently have a package booked through a AAA agent. He told me that if a code comes out, like the rumored free hopping priveleges, he would be able to apply it to my package. Is that right?

Ok, I hope I can explain this correctly. lol

ANY travel agent can apply the general-public codes to a reservation. However, you would not get the AAA discount and then another discount ON TOP of that. At least, like I said, this is my understanding of it. The travel agent should see which discount would get you the better offer, and use that one.

Also, I am not sure if the free-hopping tickets are actually a discount in the sense that I'm thinking. I've been referring only to room discounts, and discounts for packages that include a room discount.

I hope this clears up the confusion, and I hope others will comment too, because I am 99% sure of what I'm saying, but not 100% sure.

Actually you can still plan ahead and then apply they code when/if they come out.

Yeah I know, I'm just talking about what it says on the passholder site. I know a lot of people hated the BRP program but I liked booking my room 5 months in advance and not having to check every day to see if a code came out.

Me too. It was so much easier! No stress or checking daily and wondering. I didn't mind the non refundable deposit. I really wish it was back!

oh, I agree.....I mean, I could book May, Oct and Dec without a doubt every year...if they would just give me all the codes in January that would be fine!

Well, all my May ADR's are made....now I just need a place to sleep!!! Hoping POP comes up with a nice rate...trying to do this inexpensively!!! Come on Disney....share with us!!!!

I already have 3 day passes with park hopper option. I used the hot deal tip from mousesavers. I,m hoping that a discount hotel code comes out because I don't think I could get the park hopper cost refunded, especially because I got last years pricing anyway.( If a code for free park hopping comes out).

The non refundable deposit didn't really bother me much either. I don't book the room until I'm positive we are going. Unless something catastrophic happens and I figure at that point the least of my worries is the deposit. LOL

Historically, what have the prices been with a code for late May? We are currently booked with AAA at PC for $93/nt (including taxes..). I would REALLY like to upgrade to a Mod.

The non refundable deposit didn't really bother me much either. I don't book the room until I'm positive we are going. Unless something catastrophic happens and I figure at that point the least of my worries is the deposit. LOL

I didn't mind brp other than I couldn't pay on ressie as I Went have really hard time carrying around 500.00 + in case and CC is not option for that.

The AP codes are already out for your dates. WL is available 4/1-7 courtyard view total for 6 nights is $1552.08

I certainly hope we see the rates come out before March 9th this year. I really don't want to procrastinate that long on arifare seeing as I can find decent airfare right now!!!
