April/May 2006 Code Watch

Maybe I'm just a whiner but this doesn't look like too great a deal to me...don't get me wrong, it is better than nothing...but it isn't pay for 4, stay for 7, or free dining either.

Besides that its the same package deal that was available the past few months & disney usually doesn't repeat the same deal.

We're staying for 8 nights in May and still deciding what to do. Both DS (11 & 6) have APs while DH & I each have 1 day left from last trip's MYW tickets.

We, DH & I, had purchased AP for ourselves a few years back thinking we'd take a trip just the two of us. Didn't work out due to a family illness though. So when we did go back, we bought AP for the kids. Naturally ours expired first, which is how they still have APs.

DH wants to stay at CBR and while CBR is my fav., I'm willing to stay at POP to save a few dollars considering he and I need tickets.

Like others, we're just waiting to see what kind of codes / rates / packages come out to see what will work the best for us. :hourglass

I was surfing for something else when I came across a website that looks like it's for travel agents, and saw the above. Could this be the code we're waiting for?

It wont help us personally but its an interesting site!

However, it appears the website IS for travel agents; check out the top left corner.

Not to say it won't work othersise; has anyone tried to use it themselves or contacted their TA?

I got 6nights at Pop 2adults 1kid 1infant AAA from Disney preffered room without hopper passes 1239.39 thru AAA was quoted 1253.00

I'm getting a quote from a travel place for May 12-15. But I'm hoping to use AP code for that time period. I just wanted to add me to this thread as I keep watch, too. I'm okay paying what I have quoted right now but it would be nice to get the place a bit cheaper!!

If codes do come out can they be applied to current reservations with a Travel place like Dreams Unlimited? Please advise as I am such a newbie to codes.

I've always had my AP discount applied with DU. But, then things changed with the BRP. Now that's gone, so I'm not sure how they are handling it. Now, I'm holding a reservation for Dec with DU. We'll see what happens when the AP rates (if any) come out for that time frame.

I found it on a website called TravelImpressions -- not sure if I'm allowed to post a direct link, but type in the site name and then look under Florida Specials.

Ok, I went to the website and looked under Florida specials but couldn't find anything, can anyone help?

I just checked and I think it's gone! It used to be the first listing under Orlando in yellow, but I don't see it anymore.

It is gone! :confused3 Maybe they got in trouble for posting it too early? I sent them an email - I know it said TA's only, but I gave it a shot. I will post any response I receive from them.

DisneyFanatik -- I will be surprised if you receive a response from Travel Impressions. I think they didn't realize "the Dis was watching" and when tipped off, removed the incriminating evidence! :)

So would this work if I allready booked a package with park hoppers could I get money back? I don't want to risk messing up my package and know sometimes it's not worth it. We have 4 adults and one child how much would I save if any?
Thanks to those of you who are in the know

7:05am and no AP discounts for mid-May. The CM said to try back in a month. :surfweb:

In the meantime, I think it's about time to start making ADRs :yay:

Are you just starting to make your ADRs now for May?

I gave up on waiting and found a decent government rate at the Dolphin. $175 per night. Not sure but usually this works for teachers and nurses. Hope this helps!
