I've got my AAA rate for May 9 - 13. I had water view room at PORFQ adn we wanted to add another day, but water view w/AAA not available so we now have standard view. So just waiting to see if anything else better comes out. Have all our ADR's already. Now just need the time to fly by! 92 days & counting.

7:05am and no AP discounts for mid-May. The CM said to try back in a month.

In the meantime, I think it's about time to start making ADRs

If I recall correctly, someone posted that the last 2 yrs the rates came out on March 9th. One month from now would put us pretty close to that week.

We've already made our ADR's b/c we are going regardless of whether there is a rate. So I guess I'm just one of those people making a rate less likely since we've already booked a AAA rate room.

We are going over mothers day. I didn't realize it was later this year. I thought it was the week before. I wonder if mothers day week happens to book up more?

Anyways, like all of you...the suspense is killing me. DH says the amount of time I am spending on here will offset any discount. "Time is money!"

I have already made my ADRs for our May trip as well. I only made 3-CRT, CP, and CG. Those are the most important for us and we like to be very flexible. We will probably do some carry-out and lots of counter service as my youngest doesn't do well in restaurants---she sort of expires after about 45 minutes

We already made our ressies for the CR back in June. We have AAA discount already but would love AP discount to sweeten the deal but if we can't get AP it will not change our ressies. I am not changing resorts unless I am bumped for overbooking and in that case I would request GF main building.

As previously posted, I sent them an email asking what happened to the posting on their site about the free park hopper upgrade special. This was their response:

This special will not be available to book until 2/23/06 for travel between 4/23/06 - 6/3/06.

The free hopper and water park option falls withing my travel window. I've already got tickets that include these options. Will I be able to use the codes without a TA? Also, my ressie is paid in full, so is it a credit to my account? Any info for this DIS newbie is much appreciated!

No, it's one or the other. At least, this has been my experience. Last fall we were booked with AAA discount but then a great general-public discount came out that saved more than the AAA, so I changed my booking to use that discount instead.

No, it's one or the other. At least, this has been my experience. Last fall we were booked with AAA discount but then a great general-public discount came out that saved more than the AAA, so I changed my booking to use that discount instead.

I'm confused. I currently have a package booked through a AAA agent. He told me that if a code comes out, like the rumored free hopping priveleges, he would be able to apply it to my package. Is that right?

Actually you can still plan ahead and then apply they code when/if they come out.

I have also found that the WDW website is usually the last place to be updated with the info...it's usually on the DIS or mousesavers way before they update the WDW site.

They did get rid of a few things on the web site so at least someone at WDW is keeping up on it.

I always check here & mousesavers 1st thing in the morning & then Disney's web site.
