I am planning on going May 12th-20th. I don't have anything booked yet. Hope to book airfare this week, then WL for our room. This is our first trip. From what I have read here, I should book with a AAA discount and then hope for something better. Is this correct? When is the last time you can change your room only reservation?

yes, this is how to do it....you have until 5 days befor checkin to change it, as along as its not a pkg.

I think the lastest deals are through March. I would think APril & May would be next.

The latest are through mid April(16th?) for BRP.....The next should be for us.....but it just changed ....So Id say we have another month or so....Just a guess...

I am very happy as I managed to get $130/night off my Poly GV room (Apr 9th - Apr 13th) by changing from AAA to the Best Rate Program using my AP voucher. The only night I couldn't get was Apr 14th but I am keeping my AAA discount on that.

Now I am waiting to see if I can get a discount at AKL Apr 27th - 30th for after our DCL cruise.

I am also hoping for a room only code to come out . . .Our dates are 4/12 - 4/18.

Last year we were able to get a room only code for the 1st half our our stay during Spring Break when they came out in December . . .so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that sometime in December a room only code will come through.

Right now we are booked at the CR garden view at $376/night . . . which is with a AAA discount

I don't think AAA travel can apply a Disney code... I think you are better off booking the AAA rate thru Disney travel and then applying the code if one does come out.

Switched my April 20 to May 20th. I got a AAA of $146 for a prefered room at CS. I'm hoping for a better deal or free dining. I am happy with the AAA rate, but I would love to get something for CR. I would love to be around $179 a night for CR.

I booked All Star Movies for May 25-31 at the AAA rate, through Disney. I do want dining but didn't want to deal with AAA if I don't have to, I'm hoping some general non AAA rate comes out and this would be nice and easy to cancel. Does anyone know do AAA dining packages run out? If I go to AAA in March will I be able to still get a value resort and dining or is there a chance AAA rooms will be sold out?

ado121, you can definitely get it cheaper thru AAA. That $115 is rack rate for the dates you selected (peak season).
