April/May 2006 Code Watch

do deluxe rates go up approximately $100 each year? I thought it went up a lot this year but maybe I am reading the charts wrong.

Well the site is working again but only bookings thru 4/8

Has anyone called today?

I just booked CSR this morning with AAA rate for $143/night includes tax. I would love to have a general code cuz I am booking two rooms. I'm still debating whether I want to do 2 rooms CSR or a villa at BC/BW...I have the two week window to decide before I have to give my down payment. A general code with $30-$40 off a night would save me approx $200 and would seal my decision.
CSR has suites too. Check out my website below for the floor plans

Buzz, thanks for the info....I priced it out and 2 rooms would be cheaper than a jr. suite (plus 2 bathrooms! Important amenity as I will have 2 teenagers along!). I decided on CSR mostly because of your previous posts around the boards....you make it sound awesome! The only reason I think I would switch to BCV/BWV is if I could save a significant amount renting points to do so. Thanks for all the info! (edited: btw, if I want to be the absolute closest to the main pool which building/rooms would I request? I don't care anything whatsoever about being near the main bldg).

FYI...a general promotion is due to be released 2/23...no exact details yet.

It was posted that it was a MYW pkg upgrade....get parkhopping and waterpark at no extra charge. Wish it was something else as I already have tix!!! Just a general hotel code would be awesome! Here's hoping!! pixiedust:

Right, that is what it seems to be however, until it is "officially" announced/released there is no telling for sure! The upgraded pass would come in handy in the Spring...seemed kind of useless in the winter! :rotfl: Well, at the least the water parks potion seemed a bit useless!

Question: I already have the MYW pkg with parkhopping (no waterparks) - would I be able to apply the code and get a reduction in my pkg? So would the cost of my pkg go down? Am I making sense?

Yes, you will be able to apply any promotion to your reservation as long as the dates/resort are available. You can opt to get the difference refunded to your CC or use it towards "room credit"...this is if you have paid your ressie in full. If you have not paid the entire package yet, then your ressie will just be modified to the new package total.

Good luck!

I have a MYW package booked with AAA for just base tickets, hotel, and dining. Do you think I could apply the code and still maintain my AAA discount? I did find that a AAA package was discounted slightly and I don't want to pay more just to apply the code.

Thanks,
Joanne

You cannot have two discounts on the same package.
You'd have to figure out which one was the better deal and make sure you can cancel the first one without a penalty if you cancel the AAA one.

should have looked here first....just called...nothing...but they did have an AAA Poly rate! Came so close to booking! Hmmm....should I?
We are supposed to go in two weeks for a quickie trip...but DH has an MRI on his knee tomorrow...if it's bad I am going to cancel and put that $$ on the May reservation.

I would love to book a trip for early May, but I need a good room discount. We have never stayed on site before and I'm putting this trip on hold until I can get a good price that will fit in the budget.
