Good work everyone! It snowed here yesterday, so I guess walking out in the parks is not going to happen anytime soon for me:-( Oh well, I've got the Y just 5 minutes away...

Got in 35 minutes of wt machines and 35 minutes of cardio this morning.

Nice workout. Thanks for asking - it is no better but I think doing only the recumbent bike last night kept it from getting worse. And I also think the water aerobics class, though a really good workout, helped loosen it up. I think it may be tendinitis (weird spelling, but according to WebMD, that's right). I think I need to be sure to carry aleve with me all the time - it really is a wonder drug for me.

Hmmm.... can't figure out if the DIS is doing something weird to your posts, but I think the correct math is that you are now at 250 (130 + 120)/1200. Is that right?

Just did some Gazelle glider (30 minutes) and Wii Fit (lots of high intensity including the advanced step and advanced boxing! My favourites -- 30 minutes)

Ate too many cashews and am currently drinking wine...but i'm at 330/1100!!

Today's cardio sculpt class was insane!!! It actually crossed my mind that it might be embarassing to puke mid class... that's new :)

Did another short run yesterday so now I'm at 330/1200. Making the move to running outside has slowed me down so I will be adding to my minutes for the rest of the month. ;)

Feeling awesome this morning! I just finished 25 minutes on the treadmill and 15 minutes on the Gazelle for a today total of 40 minutes.

Great job on the minutes, Lisa. Thanks for asking about my hip. I am kind of worried about all the walking we'll be doing in NYC this weekend since it is so painful and I have such an odd hitch/gait to my walk because of it. Hoping that I start seeing some improvement soon.

I had zero minutes yesterday and ate dessert last night after a yummy dinner at Joe's Crab Shack. My dinner choice wasn't bad, but the dessert was a hugely delicious but bad decision. :guilty: I am hoping to do some kind of workout tonight at the Y.

Cam - be careful you don't put too much stress on your other hip or other part of your body to compensate. Hope it's better soon!

Actually feeling wiped out this afternoon so skipping my afternoon workout. Ordering appys from 99 for supper. If I have energy later I will try and do some or I will workout tomorrow morning and then again later in the day. Kind of a crazy day but I'll figure it out somehow!

Cam, I really hope that pain in your hip does ease and that NYC is loads of fun for you. Thank you for all of your encouragement.

My totals for this week --
started out at 376/2000

April 7 - 52 mins run/40 min power walk with pup
April 8 - 106 mins power walk [my longest ever!]/ 31 min walk with pup
April 10 - 39 min run
April 11 - 37 min power walk/ 90 min housework [which involved lots of going up and down stairs to change out my summer/winter clothes]/ 40 min walk with pup
April 12 - 52 min run/ 54 min walk with pup
April 13 - 40 min walk with pup/ 30 min walking through downtown/ 51 min run/walk - my first 5K...not the fastest time ever but I actually thought I had done much worse.

My new total is 1030/2000.
 
Didn't get a chance to post yesterday since my DD and DGD are visiting this weekend from Virginia. Walking in the house after my workout, I had a 3 year old running to meet me and never gave my computer a thought!:goodvibes

I did 35 min wt machines and 35 minutes cardio

Hope those who are feeling sluggish or in pain or just having trouble finding their mojo are doing better.:grouphug: I woke up in pain last night at 2:15 and after an hour of tying to get back to sleep, I just got up and read a book.
