April 9th, 2011 on the Magic - Join in!

So happy for the facebook page and the google doc!

I am so excited for this cruise!!!

We will probably be staying at the Radisson too the night before. I am trying to find the best deal with parking. In the past we have gotten together at the pool, ordered pizza and hung out with other DIS families before the cruise! :thumbsup2

Hummmm, I need to get cracking on our FE gifts...such decisions! :)

We are still GTY too. DCL used to assign GTY's earlier but they have been assigning as late as 2 weeks before for rates like FLR recently. The suspense is killing me! LOL

Hummm, I guess it is time to update my signature! :upsidedow

I think it would be great if a bunch of us were at the Radisson! I would LOVE to meet some of you guys in person before we get on the Magic!
:cool1::banana::woohoo::yay::cool1::banana::woohoo::yay:

I booked the Radisson today. I figured if I was going to pay $105 for parking at the port I might as well pay $149 and spend the night close by and keep our car there. :thumbsup2

It will be fun to meet others before the cruise!

So reviewing the online check in in reference to port arrival times.... it says. Select a port arrival time period from the list of available time periods below. "This is when you must arrive at the port to board your vessel. This is not the actual time you will be boarding the ship"

Question isnt the vessel the ship? But it says the vessel where boarding is not the ship?

What happens if you miss the time? Like traffic etc??? Is this so that everyone is not there at the same time..does it really help

Everytime we cruised we left our hotel at 9:00 called a shuttle and got to the port before they opened. We were always usually group 1 or 2. We have older kids so they would just listen to there ipods and chill. Hubby and I were usually tapping our legs itching to get onboard..lol.

Does anyone have older kids? I have one tween. and one teen.:cool1: my son is 14 my daughter 12. My son will be in the teen club :scared1: and my daughter will be in the quest:banana:Just wondering if there was anyone in those age ranges.

Howdy all,

Just wanted to jump into the conversation. This cruise will be my first cruise (Disney or otherwise) and I can't tell you how excited I am about it. I will be cruising solo, but I am pretty outgoing (and house-trained :thumbsup2) so I am looking forward to meeting some new people! :woohoo:

Hey,Stephen! Welcome to the group! Cruising solo sounds like such fun! Glad to have you here and I can't wait to get to know you better!

My husband and I will be sailing on this cruise to celebrate our one year anniversary (a couple weeks late), and we would love to join in on the Fish Extender exchange with all of you! We don't have kids, but we are Disney kids at heart and make multiple park trips a year!!

We sailed on the Wonder for our honeymoon last year and LOVED everything about the Disney cruise experience, and we thought the Fish Extenders and the door decorations were the cutest things!
From the character greetings and stage shows to the romantic adult only areas, we vowed to never sail with any other cruise line!

Welcome, Mallory! So glad you and your hubby have joined us. This is our first Disney Cruise, but we've been Disney Geeks for a long time. We have two kiddos DS (10) and DD (7) and we are all so excited about this cruise.

Also wanted to let you know about our Facebook page. There's a lot more converstaion and info. over there. I don't have enough posts to give you the link, but post #38 on page 3 of this thread has the link.

Stephen,

Do you still live in San Diego? We are from San Diego too!

Welcome, Mallory! I was excited to see your info on the FE page!
We can't wait to meet you!

Anybody want to take a crack at naming our group? I would love to do some magnets for our door, but I think we need a name! I got no response on the FB page, maybe we are not "name the group" kind of people! :)

Any ideas??????:scratchin
