April 8, 2006 Western Magic Cruise

I don't believe anyone else has started this thread. Anyone else out there going on this cruise? We are dh, dd 11, ds 8 & me. This will be our fifth cruise and our fourth Magic cruise.

Now if I could just figure out how to get the cutdown clocks started.

You have to delete the html language and then go to someplace like ticker factory or daisy path and get a countdown clock from them. I like the old countdown clocks better.

Where are you from in PA? We're from the Poconos as the name indicates. Our kids are dd 10 (will be 11 by 4/2006) and ds 7 (will be 8 by 4/2006).

Been a little busy lately and haven't been on boards that much - with 13 months to go - there is still so much planning to do
My family thinks I am nuts - but is so happy (especially dh) when we walk out the door and know that they will have a fun-filled week of adventure all laid out in a nice neat folder!!!

We're from Holland in Bucks County - right outside of Philly

I can't believe that we haven't heard from anyone else - I tried to start awhile back - from the prices - which if you haven't checked - have gone up - I imagine they are expecting a full ship

OUr first 2 cruises were the week between Palm Sunday and Easter. The ship was filled both times. We love cruising that week because when we get home winter is almost gone and some signs of spring are popping. We cruised in Feb this year and decided that the weather was a little to iffy to do that again. In addition, we can home to the middle of winter, YUCK!

We were in Philly last weekend for the flower show. It doesn't look like winter hit there. I love flying out of Philly. We have used JFK, LAG and Newark. Philly is easier to get in and out of. I wish Southwest flew out of ABE, but that will never happen. ABE is an hour away and you can walk from the extended time parking lot to the terminal. OH, well.

We are also booked for this cruise.

It will be myself, DH, and DD who will be 10.

We are doing our first cruise Dec 29 - Jan 2. I told DH we could always cancel if he doesn't like cruising.

We're on the ship too! It will be me,dh,dd15,ds13, dd7. Our little one will be celebrating her birthday on the 14th. It is the kids first cruise. Our neighbors are also going they have 3dd's 14,13,6. My ds is so excited he keeps watching the video.

I agree with wanting to come home with winter almost gone. I am getting pretty sick of snow and cold.

Welcome Vavasmom and Pollyp. Glad to hear more of us will be sailing on the Magic. Vavas how old will your daughter be at the time of sailing? Our dd will be almost 12 by then. She is turning 11 in June of this year.

We'll be on board as well...dh, dd(6) ds(6) - 7yrs at cruise time, & me. With us as well will be mil, fil, sil, bil, cousins 7 & 4. We're very excited. First timers for the majority of us.

Hi DIS cruisers. We are on the June 4th west coast cruise and will use our onboard rebook to join the April western. This will be our 6th or 7th. It will be myself, DH, DS9, DS6, DD3. I had to think for a moment because we have birthdays coming soon. We did not quite make the potty training complete before our west coaster so I still have time by April. I am new to DIS boards with this cruise and our west coast is just now starting to chat with eachother so we may pull it off yet. Hope to get to know some of you before April.
