First cruise ever.....can't wait and not bring the kids lol travelling with SIL and BIL and another couple with 7yr old twins !!! Our DD 22 and DS 19 have classes so maybe next time

From Michigan and we are driving down. We have flown Alligient Air out of Toledo and Lansing to Sanford...but rates are outrageous. Plus we can pack what we want for the cruise..FE etc...and not have to worry about weight.

we are considering driving as well, the way down isn't bad, but coming home with all the other spring breakers is always a nightmare! But it's worth saving some bucks! I assume we can park at the port for free while we are cruising?

Great idea! How do I go about shipping the items to the terminal?

I got the address from the cruise line when I called. I moved so I can't find it like everything else, but I will call again and get it and post it.

Hi everyone, just popping in to say goodbye. We were unable to re-book connecting staterooms for less then $9000 for this cruise so have had to choose the 5 night Wonder cruise instead. I'm a bit sad but happy that we still get to do a cruise!
I shall smooch on over to the thread for that cruise

Hi! Sadly, you have to pay per day for parking at the terminal. We booked a hotel near port and got the stay and cruise package. you leave your car at the hotel and a shuttle takes you down the road to the port and picks you up. If you plan on staying the previous night of the cruise, this is the way to go.

isn't that crazy, good tip on the hotel parking!! Well, yesterday DH announced to me (while in a group of friends) that we are flying for sure and he thinks we will even go down on Thursday and spend a few nights at Port Orleans -woo hoo! Good news to me! (funny thing is, I am the vacation planner, but he does the air part because the points are connected to his business accounts, so ultimately he controls our length of stays - ugh! At least it is a good thing this time around - bless his heart!!!! Now if I could just talk him into a 10 day stay at the World sometime!!!)

I epically fail at the Dis Boards, so sorry! I am on this cruise too, just moved my May 4th to this 7 nighter! We did the Christmas Cruise 2012 and LOVED it! I'm interested in joining the FE!

I have a DH, and 2 DD - 10 and 6.

Hi Again!! Checked the FE list and noticed that my daughter's dairy allergy wasn't added to the nuts. The only reason to add this is so that people don't give her yummy chocolate treats that she sadly can't eat. I always bring in safe treats for her to eat and secretly add them to her FE pocket.
