April 5th 2014 Fantasy Caribbean Cruise

I'm a FE newbie, but I just looked at the list and noticed of the 32 families shown on the list, only 17 of them show room #s. Won't it be hard to find their FEs if we don't know where to look?

No worries, when all is said and done the list will include everyone's cabin number, ages of the children, names, and any special celebrations. I'm not in charge, but from experience I'm sure the list will stay open until about 30-60 days from sailing. There is still plenty of time for people to sign up, fill in their information to complete the list, and of course decide what they want to do for gifts. Depending on how many people sign up usually the lists are divided into groups of no more than 20 cabins. Looks like we will have at least 2 groups on this cruise. Some people opt to deliver to all the cabins, some choose just to do the cabins in their group...up to you. It's a lot of fun!

Exactly...I usually close it 45-60 days out. Up to the group. Some need that much lead time to order things and shipping. If we don't have the cabin number they technically are not participating. Some people may still drop stuff in. I'll re-arrange the list after it's finalized for the groupings and break out the data. Send me those cabin numbers folks!

That's what I was thinking, we can look at a possible meet up date after the 1st of the year once we know what spring schedule's look like after the holidays.

I was discussing with the wife. Best idea we came up with...wait for it...bowling! The thought is we can group the similar aged kids at a lane so they can socialize and get to know each other. Parents and little one's just hang out. There's a decent alley in Roswell. Might be far for some...it's one idea...

We are also midship on deck nine with a big group! If it's your 1st cruise feel free to ask questions, it's so much fun...all it takes is one and you'll be hooked! There are lots of other cruise lines out there but Disney truly has the formula to earn them a "best cruise line" ranking!

Besides my husband and I we have DD 21, DD 21, DS 15, DS 13 (birthday the last day of the cruise) and DD 10. Ages at time of sailing- will you have any children with you?

This will be our fourth cruise with Disney. We have cruised on the Dream once and the Magic twice. Bahamas, Eastern Caribbean and Canada respectively. We love cruising with Disney and are so excited to share this with our family and to celebrate our brother-in-laws return!

We are BIG researchers so feel free to ask questions about Eastern Caribbean and cruising with Disney. We enjoy the planning as much as the cruising!

GREAT idea!!!! Is it the Brunswick Lanes off Holcomb Bridge??, I think we went there for a Girl Scout event once...Fun!

Hi All!

Another Michigan (Holland) family here! We are excited about our second Disney cruise! Our first was last October on the Fantasy. We had a fantastic cruise, up until hurricane Sandy sent us spinning the last night, NOT FUN! But we are giving it another go (this time avoiding hurricane season) and want this cruise to end on a happy note.

We are me (Erin - DisneyDoc5), DH Bret, DS Joshua 15, DS Caleb 12, DD Josie 9.

Not sure if we will do FE yet, but would like to be in on a meet if we have one for sure. We are traveling with another family that are not disers, so that is why we aren't sure if we do the FE, but we will decide before the cut off.

Can't wait!

Anyone from Michigan purchase airfare yet? It is still outrageous and only Delta and Spirit have non-stop flights? Any advice on airfare? Am I looking too early? If prices don't go down, we jut might have to drive and I REALLY do not want to do that. But airfare for 8 at the current prices just isn't doable. AHHH!!

Just signed up for the FE. Last time we did the FE exchange I shipped the items to the terminal and had them waiting in the room when we arrived. Shipping was not bad and I didn't want to have to worry about packing all of that stuff. Our daughter loved doing the exchange!

We live in Whitehall and will be flying out of Grand Rapids. Like the PP, we are waiting for Southwest/AirTran to announce their rates - probably another month before they'll be available though as they are currently only allowing booking through March 7, 2014.

Did you join the FB page? There's a link to a Google form on there to order a lanyard. Might be another way, but that's how I did it.

wishing you the best! Detroit will offer you more options if you had a flight delay or cancellation, but Flint is so nice and small!
