:sad::sad::sad::sad::sad:

I'll be travelling with a senior....so leaving the airport is not an option....

Well then I don't know what else to tell you. I wish I had better news. I always say were there is a will there is a way.
Thank you!

No problem. I just hope it covers the dates you are looking for. Also I want to point out on Sep. 5 is the day I should know when you can start making your plans. You will not be able to make your plans on Sep. 5.

Gydell I just noticed you are from Atalnta. Is this the Airport you will be using? If so I honestly do not know if we will have set up shop there. I will try to give you that info when I have it.

When I first saw the Taste of CA menu, I did not think I would like it at all, but I really loved it. I suppose for me it was something a bit different, whereas you can get this kind of food every day.
Corinna

Now see this menu does not stick out in my mind at all. The only thing I remember is you had a table of people from CA saying we don't eat any of this. So I don't know. It is all good, not like I will go hungry. I can always get a steak.

That's funny! I haven't seen that menu, but would be curious to. It used to be the joke here in CA that if anyone added avocado to anything (and sometimes alfalfa sprouts) it was declared California cuisine!! :lmao:

We are not merging. We flat out bought Air Tran. From what I can tell, and that is not much because I am just a Ground agent at LAX, those cities will not be back when we get our single operating certificate. All signs point to bags will fly free for a long time.

I was not a fan of the Taste of CA menu, I did like the Mexicali and round the world one. I think the one I liked the most was the East meets West Panama Canal menu. Like others said, there will be 15 menus.

Merge, bought.. Whichever..Point is that AirTran will become Southwest. Hopefully Southwest will aquire the XM radio that is on the AirTran planes. I am sure that there will be some AirTran things intergrated into Southwest that Southwest does not already have. :rolleyes1

After reading the web page we created lowfarefarther dot com. the integration team will evaluate tge existing commitments of Air Tran. We have committed to Internet connectivity onboard.

Yes I use the Atl airport. Do you think it will still be Airtran here at that time? I am trying to use all my free tickets before the takeover is complete.

I was just looking at airfare from the D.C. area. Since we have never flown to CA, I don't know what a good round-trip fare is. Saw some for less than $500 per person. Think we should take it?

Air Tran is merging with Southwest. I think that is about the time they will be taking the southwest name, and changing all the planes to Southwest. You might want to keep an eye on Southwest in place of Air Tran. And with a brighter note, Southwest will, I think, continue the "bags fly free".

They are pulling out completley. The airport is trying to find another low fare carrier and Air Tan is relocating the employees.:sad1:

Not sure if this would be same menu......

That is less then what I paid, so yes good price. :rotfl2:

We also aren't sure if we are going to DL while we're there, so we've got to figure in some lead or follow time.

Ah yes, Chicken Schnitzel sounds very Californian... :lmao:

Actually, much of this is - the roasted veggies with quinoa, Ahi tuna, lots is popular here. And not a trace of avocado that I could see! Thanks for sharing!!!

I know this does not really have to do with the cruise, but I know that many of us on the thread are going to WDW this fall/winter. They have just come out with free dining on select dates thru spring 2012. I know there was a family going about the same time we are (Oct 26-Nov 1), and the free dining is being offered during check in's from Oct 23-Nov 5. Check it out if your heading to WDW!:cool1::yay::dance3:

Sorry I didn't get back to you Monday as promised but Bob's cardiologist admitted him to the hospital to run tests so I wasn't home to make those calls. I am going to contact the original company's artist to see about getting him the files he needs to get us a mockup. The company Corinna found do some great designs but use a different process that would only work on a very different design. They use a stamp process which means fewer colors and a simpler design, more like a logo. Does anyone want to work on that?

Hope all is OK....

:surfweb: Just wondering  when DCL will release the list of Excursions
for this cruise.....:surfweb:

I don't have any intention of paying $500 for my flight. Maybe I will have to. It's going to be on Jet Blue. Should have bought it back when it was $220 because it's $260 now.

I have all my Oct-Dec reservations at WDW, and I am not interested in free dining, but they've got lots of dates out now for it through March. Ugh. But if it's your thing, check it out quick.
