This is the copy I had been working on until Linda asked about the original design and I adapted that one. I can't decide if I like the brighter flowers or the vintage flowers with that border better. Also can't decide if I like the softer lavender or the vivid blue Think I'll wait and see what they tell me tomorrow.

Another question....yes, we are trying to finish up our planning in near future, so I will post lots of questions. I have no idea about Port in San Diego...is there any rental car company available? We would like to stay in California another day or two after the cruise.
Sad news.
Air Tran is cutting flights/locations eff 3/9/12
Now I have to find another airline and no doubt a higher cost.![]()
We are not merging. We flat out bought Air Tran. From what I can tell, and that is not much because I am just a Ground agent at LAX, those cities will not be back when we get our single operating certificate. All signs point to bags will fly free for a long time.Air Tran is merging with Southwest. I think that is about the time they will be taking the southwest name, and changing all the planes to Southwest. You might want to keep an eye on Southwest in place of Air Tran. And with a brighter note, Southwest will, I think, continue the "bags fly free".
I was not a fan of the Taste of CA menu, I did like the Mexicali and round the world one. I think the one I liked the most was the East meets West Panama Canal menu. Like others said, there will be 15 menus. As others have said before, the menus do not repeat on the longer cruises, but some of the special menus have turned out to become firm favourites of mine. The Taste of the Med menu that was served on the Med cruises and the WBTA last year falls into this category. We are unlikely to get this on the Hawaii cruise, but I am hoping that we may get Taste of California, Round the World and Mexicali, which were all absolutely amazing when we had them on the Panama Canal Cruise.

When I first saw the Taste of CA menu, I did not think I would like it at all, but I really loved it. I suppose for me it was something a bit different, whereas you can get this kind of food every day.

Now see this menu does not stick out in my mind at all. The only thing I remember is you had a table of people from CA saying we don't eat any of this. So I don't know. It is all good, not like I will go hungry. I can always get a steak.
This is somewhat true. First you need to ask your driver to use either the Century Blvd. entrance or the Sepulveda south enterance. Now if you have a good driver ask them to take you to In-And-Out. You can get a pic of the letters there as well.Yeah to Bags Fly Free!!!!!!!
I didn't realize you worked at LAX....I know this sounds corny but I am hoping that when we arrive at LAX for our flight home to Toronto after the cruise that I will FINALLY be able to get a picture of the LAX letters....I was told when we arrived this past April (for the Repo cruise to Vancouver) that you could only see the letters when you are arriving at the airport, not when you are leaving...I was sad...
That's just like DCL having "Canadian Bacon" on the menu at breakfast....the American's version of Canadian Bacon is just ham, whereas a Canadian's version of Canadian bacon is peameal bacon (back bacon that has been rolled in cornmeal). I love asking the DCL servers if the Canadian bacon is TRULY Canadian bacon....when they say yes (because they aren't from Canada) then I remind them that I am from Canada and then we have a laugh and then usually ask me what really is Canadian bacon!!!!!

Thanks for the info....since we will be using Disneyland Express....I will keep my fingers crossed that they use either of these entrances...I think I would be pushing it to ask them to visit In & Out....Although I have heard it is quite good....
When should we look for April 28 - May 14 schedules to come out with Southwest?
I can tell you they do not. So sorry. If you have plenty of time you can walk to In-And-Out in about 15-20 min. Depending on your airline.
I should have that info on Sep 5 hopefully.
