I don't have any intention of paying $500 for my flight. Maybe I will have to. It's going to be on Jet Blue. Should have bought it back when it was $220 because it's $260 now.

Plus your 1st piece of luggage is free!!! :)
Just that I'd help

I have all my Oct-Dec reservations at WDW, and I am not interested in free dining, but they've got lots of dates out now for it through March. Ugh. But if it's your thing, check it out quick.

We always do the dining plan anyway, so why not take the freeby? We are already booked for the times they are offering, so I will save the $$$ where I can!. Will probably take the savings and put it towards my cruise fare!

Yes I use the Atl airport. Do you think it will still be Airtran here at that time? I am trying to use all my free tickets before the takeover is complete.

I will be honest I have no clue. To stay up to date I would really check out the web site lowfaresfarther dot com. It will at give you all the info as it it released. Who knows maybe you won't have to burn all you free tickets. I just really don't know, and don't want to give you false info.

Thanks for the good thoughts for my Bob. The EKG in the dr's office had indicated he may have had a heart attack so they admitted him and ran tests. Good news is no attack but they aren't sure what is causing his stomach and back pain so more tests as an out patient.

I called another shirt company just to get a third quote and talk with them about the shirts. Their price and overall offer is the same. They are a larger company, which can be good or bad. Right now I am proceeding with the first company but keeping the second as a backup.

Good news Val, but I hope they find out soon what is wrong.

jetBlue has a round-trip tik for $260?? Where is it out of?

Val, our thoughts and prayers are w/you and Bob. My DH, Wayne, just went through a cardiac catheterization and had a stent put in. I am so grateful they ran all the tests they did and found the problem BEFORE he had any permanent damage! I hope they find the problem soon and figure out how to deal w/it. :grouphug:

Not everyone likes the dining plan. I like it so little I haven't done it since 2008 and have no further intention of ever using the dining plan. Really it's only a "freeby" if you were going to pay rack rate and buy a package with tickets anyway; otherwise it's a discount like any other discount. Most of my room reservations are DVC, but I wouldn't get free dining even if I could. I'd go for a room discount.

Washington Dulles. And that's one-way, not round trip. They're only booking through 4/30 right now.

The company Corinna found do some great designs but use a different process that would only work on a very different design. They use a stamp process which means fewer colors and a simpler design, more like a logo. Does anyone want to work on that?

I've only caught the tail end of this discussion but I'd be happy to work on a logo. :goodvibes I'll now go back and read all the details I've missed ...

I am not sure how close you are to RIC (Ricmond, VA) but they have a round trip for $408.60 on United...Leaving on Friday April 27th, and returning on Monday May 14th ...that is round trip....not to bad....we are going to DL for 2 days before the cruise....but we thought it was a pretty good price....

Hope this helps

That's funny! I haven't seen that menu, but would be curious to. It used to be the joke here in CA that if anyone added avocado to anything (and sometimes alfalfa sprouts) it was declared California cuisine!! :lmao:

.

From memory, there was not an avocado or an a alfalfa sprout in sight.

Not sure if this would be same menu......

This is very similar, but it had a bit of a make over for the Panama Canal Cruise. I ended up having Potato Croquettes filled with Basil and Italian Cheese, White Wine Sauce, Candied Walnut, Tomato and Cillantro Soup with Chipotle Cream and Somona Chicken Breast, Wild Rice, Roasted Sweet Carots and Asparagus. Our server had also brought out a portion of Portobello Mushroom Ravioli with a Brown Butter, Sage and Truffle Oil Sauce for us to share.

Sorry I didn't get back to you Monday as promised but Bob's cardiologist admitted him to the hospital to run tests so I wasn't home to make those calls. I am going to contact the original company's artist to see about getting him the files he needs to get us a mockup. The company Corinna found do some great designs but use a different process that would only work on a very different design. I am so glad that it was not a heart attack. Hopefully they will find what is causing the problem.

Prayers and pixiedust: from John and I that Bob will find out the source of his back pain and that it will be minor.

Hello everyone,

I was one of the unlucky that did not learn soon enough about this sailing of the wonder to hawaii. It sounds like a heavenly cruise.
I just popped by to wish everyone happy cruising.
I wish I had been able to book! Maybe another year. ) :)
smiles.

Well, we have had our trip booked for few months now. So, any refund we might get because of this promotion is a bonus.

Thanks!! So sorry you missed it when it first came out.... :sad1:

But rooms do get dropped/added quite frequently, so you might check from time to time. :]

Val, You guys are in my thoughts and prayers. My BIL had a similar problem and after three attacks, they discoverd it was his gall bladder. He no longer has "angina" or any other cardiac issues. It was the strangest thing. He would even respond to nitro. go figure.

We wish Bob all the best.

Oh my - this one brought me out of lurking to say Best of Luck for everything -- with Bob that is....we just want to see him on one of the shirts, any shirt....

Holding warm thoughts for quick and favorable answers! I ditto the poster who said we want to see Bob in a shirt - ANY shirt. Take care of yourself and the man - in the greater scheme of things - shirts are a drop in the bucket.
