I love this one.
If not this one then the blue redesign.

I seem unhappy because all I see, and again this may get lost in translation because it is typed and not spoken, but from my perspective there is a lot of closed mindedness going on. Maybe it is the way my mind is interpering posts but I will say one thing, thanks for helping me make up my mind. I think I just maybe out of here after this post. I am going to cool off and steep back and gather my thoughts and then make a firm decision. Oh and to answer your question, yes it is just this group as of late that is making me feel thus way.
Just My two Cents.
I dont know what some people have to be so negative about everything. life is to short and precious to be negative about everything. If you dont like whats going on on the boards why are you on them? If you dont like something that someone else has worked so hard on dont be so mean about it keep your opinion to yourself. Also dont put them down these people who are working so hard on this stuff takes time out of their busy schedules to make sure that othr people can have a great time in addition to the great time they will already have on the cruise.
I love the new design. Great job. And i just wanted to thank those who take the time out of their busy schedules to make all this stuff. Youre all very creative.![]()
So I have had a chance to cool off a bit. I think today is just one of those days. Anyway while I was cooling off I had a extreme thought. Val has worked so hard over the last few weeks. I think it should be her that decides. Since most here don't care I think that is the best thing to do. Becides tge artist I think knows best. So I say Val you pick.
You know what. I was thinking. As great as it would be to have a shirt, I am going to pass. There are just to many nice ones. Right now I could say I would buy 3 of them. But since it will be down to one obviously because so many want matching shirts I am out. I just don't want to want to be stuck with something I don't want. Oh well![]()
As a veterinarian I find it necessary to point out that while Ariel may only require 2 sea shells Minnie, being a mouse, needs 8. Just sayin'
Bob here. We got involved in DISboards only about a year ago because Valerie was trying to get more info about the Westbound Trans-Atlantic cruise on Magic. The more that we discuss things on the boards, the more great ideas come up. Plus, we get into interesting side-tracks like whether Minnie is actually a tramp or, like Jessica Rabbit said, "They just draw me this way." And that, unlike the "freestyle cruising" line, you can bring bottled goods and snack foods aboard.
Lanyards, FEs, gift exchanges of all kinds, meet 'n' greet, stateroom tours, Champagne Girls, martini sampling, Mickey Mouse Club T-shirts, scavenger hunts, "Pirates Across the Atlantic"-logo polo shirts, wine tastings, coffee klatsch (the German spelling, I guess, should be kaffe klatsch), morning Promenade Deck walk, drink mixology, jewelry making, wildest tropical-patterned shirt contest, album design (did I forget any? -- oh yeah, some people are talking about making Hawaiian shirts) are all things that have been organized by DISboard members on cruises. Parents can organize story time or pajama parties for kids. On the Trans-Atlantic and Trans-Panama cruises, people organized excursions in categories that DCL missed.
The last two weeks or so a lot of discussion centered on the topic of custom-printed shirts. I hope you don't feel that we've hijacked the group. There are still a lot of other potential activities, and when we have as many options as listed above, clearly nobody can participate in all of them. Although Valerie tries!
I was the one who wrote that it'd be cool to have dozens of people appearing here and there on the ship in matching shirts, but that's just a secondary reason to buy in. Same as getting a lanyard. In the past, someone posted T-shirt graphics we could copy and, after buying stock ink-jet transfer sheets, print the logos for our own shirts. Nobody makes an ink-jet transfer sheet that's big enough for a whole shirt with sleeves and collar, so if this is going to happen, someone has to get a source to print and sew the shirts for us. If too few people choose paying for a shirt -- for any reason, and any is acceptable -- then it just doesn't happen.
I'm looking forward to wearing several of my Disney Hawaiian shirts, and hope to buy one with our cruise's logo, but please don't feel that I, or Valerie, or anyone else is expecting you to participate in this shirt order. Sure, we hope you will.
Would love any shirt style that is chosen. It represents all the friends that we have made on this thread. The Disboard activities are important to us and we like to take part in all that we can.
Speaking of activities- did anyone sign up to organize a pajama breakfast? We did it on the PC and it was a lot of fun. Everyone came in some type of Disney character tee shirt and either shorts or sweatpants. We were seated in one area of the restaurant. I think it was like 9am. Does anyone that was there remember any other details?
I see you are on the Dis hawaii thread right now! Do you know where th ethread is about the fabric for the shirts we can order? Connie

We are doing it again on this years WBTA. Below is is information from the 2011 WBTA Welcome Wagon post I make to newcomers to help whoever wants to organize:
Join us for a Pajama breakfast on September 18 at 10:00 AM at Lumiere's. We will meet outside Lumiere's at 9:50 AM to take group pictures. If you are interested, please PM Mandy (MandyGirl) with the number in your party.
Here is the picture from the PJ breakfast on last years WBTA.

Selling merchandise with Disney characters on the ship might bring out the Disney copyright police.

Thank you so very much. You are very sweet, but there HAS to be some place nearby with all the hotels near there. I'll just check at the desk when I check in...they will most likely know of something...if not, I pick up the smartphone and start Googling!!!
Thanks so much!
