I so want to get a shirt, my thing is, Val made so many good ones I can't decide. This is why I think she should make the decision. I would rather get the shirt that is nearest to the designers heart than the one I like best. That will give it extra special meaning. That is why I am now advocating that the voting stops.

I haven't voted yet! I havent even seen the choices....but I don't care....anything Disney is OK with me!

My opinion is yes we are all excited about this cruise. Can we all agree on that? It is thru the DISBOARDS and wearing the lanyards that other people who I've chatted with and saw me wearing my lanyards would just pass by and say 'hi'. Others stop and we chat for awhile and vice versa. It's how you make some friends but only if you want to. We all have another thing in common. DISBOARDS. It doesn't matter if we go on it to build friendships; to get ideas; to participate; to lurk - it doesn't matter as long as we can keep it fun for the most part yet be there for support when others are going thru difficult times. In the past, I've gone thru some very difficult times (sickness, my mom passing away, my wedding on the Disney Wonder) and the love and support that I received from my DIS family was overwhelming. I consider some of my friends that I met on the DISBOARDS more of my family than some of my family. We have been there for each other thru colonoscopies , death of a loved one , graduations, engagements, birthdays and anniversaries and weddings etc etc. I love the idea of matching; deciding on when to wear the shirt on a specific day and time and getting a group picture. It's fun but for those that don't want to participate - don't. Each one of us is going on this cruise for different reasons and that's what make the DISBOARDS work. Since some of us have decided that we want to wear 'matching' shirts, I like that we are doing this by majority rules. I'm sure Val probably likes all of her designs or she wouldn't have done them. Just my 2 cents.

A pj breakfast sounds soooo cool! I could probably get my DH to do it to. It's nice that with all of our days at sea we have group things to do. Can't wait.

Just talked with someone at Doubletree and was told they do have a free shuttle within a 5 mile radius. Yes they have a liquor store and also have one within walking distance. He said about 10 min. This just might be the closer for me to stay here.

I actually like the green one with Mickey and Minnie and Donald and Daisy dancing with the names of the islands we will be visiting.

But if the brown and green one is chosen, I will order 3 of them for us! Connie.

I love flying on SW and fly SW most of the time. I can't wait for the merger with Air Tran to be completed so SW will be flying more places. I did notice that the prices on SW seem to be higher than usual. I guess that's due to the high fuel costs. FYI - if you call 1-800-IFLYSWA and ask them when their new schedules will be coming out, they usually tell you. I do that all the time and will be checking for this flight. Yes, 2 bags free is awesome. Their customer service is wonderful. Everyone on SW is always so friendly and helpful. Never had a bad experience with SW.

Thanks for checking with the Doubletree and for the info! I knew the desk staff would know...AND a shuttle will take us within a 5 mile radius? NICE. I haven't made my flight plans yet, but I am hoping to get in by early afternoon, so I can have plenty of time for shopping for the cruise "necessities"!

That is my Dsis (Amanda) on the far right in the front in the blue/green tank top. I missed the breakfast because I deceided to sleep in that morning. I'll try to keep my sleeping to a minimum on this cruise

At 8am, it felt like 102 F here in Canada today (well not all of Canada, but SouthWestern Ontario )...going up to 120 F....


I love this thread! Gives me a little boost of excitement for Hawaii each day!
