here is how the poll on the shirt design is going as of this morning 10:00 SPT ending with posting 3018. I only polled your first choice

Could we have a new posting of designs or even a separate DIS poll which somehow shows the new design and the previous #1 so both designs with borders are represented? (And if the new blue with smaller characters appears with the previous border where Mickey heads were in the flowers, people could vote on it also. )

And I too am glad all the ideas are not dampening the enthusiasm of the Artist!

I love # 3. To me, it looks like a Hawaiian Shirt and I love that the characters are wearing a lei. I love everything about it. # 1 doesn't do anything for me. I don't like the camouflouge look and I found that the white writing didn't stand out enough. #3 just looks like Hawaii and fun.

My DH also likes # 3. He said he has no problem wearing a shirt that has some pink in it.

Our friends also going on this cruise (Denise&Craig) would also get #3.

So, here's 4 votes for #3.

I know I shouldn't post anything else but I really really like this revised design I have been playing with. Bob will say the "volvo" blue is boring but I like it. The trim would only go along the bottom. I increased the size of the flowers and decreased the size of M & M. I have concern the original I posted would be to busy when made into a full shirt.

I like this one alot! My new fav.

I am working on combining the new blue with border of huts (Bob says they look like log cabins to him) with the old #1, I am trying to make separate panels
The first panel you will see the primary background, with the flowers larger, like they were in the new blue border design and showing how the pattern would repeat (when I mocked up the old #1 into the shape of a shirt, it looked really busy and almost with horizontal lines - something people said they didn't want).
The second panel will show you the border, using the old border, without the print but in blue (we could look at it in any color)
The third panel I want to give you options of characters. Do we want to just have mickey and minnie or would we want all of the fab5. I am also suggesting we have the characters smaller and spread out, like the new blue with border showed them. This makes for a lot less busy pattern
The fourth panel is the text. We can have it say whatever we want and in whatever color we want.

I sent a copy of the first design, original colors to Becky to see if they could do something like this. She didn't think it would be problem.

Mean Bob is making me go to the gym (again). When we get home I have to clean house 'cause we have friends coming over tomorrow and I don't want them talking bad about me. So, don't know when I'll get the new panels done, but will work on them.

Sorry guys, hard tiem keeping up with this thread, this is my birthday month so I'm hardly on any site at this time. Anyway, just a quick shoutout to ask, how many of us Hawaiian cruisers were also on the '08 PC cruise? If you can let me know via this site or the other site, I would greatly appreciate it. I get lost on this site. My apologies if this information is somewhere else but I'm having a hard time finding my way around here.

Thanks for any answers, working on something else for my FE gift for those repeat cruisers. Nothing set in stone just curious if we had a lot of that crew on here too. Thanks!

A question about the shirts. When, if there even is inkling, will orders be due. If I like the pattern I will get one, but I also need to make sure I get the Vacation time from work and I won't know that till late Oct. early Nov. Also I know people are talking about the sane style, but I am going to advocate more than one. If the top two I like are made I would get both.

Thank you soooo very much for your continued hard work! I know this has caused you to spend an awful lot of time and effort away from your family time. We are all going to look sensational strutting about the ship in our shirts (no matter which one the majority chooses )!! And that is thanks to YOU!

As I said earlier, I want to thank all of you for your input and encouragement with the designs for our shirts and apologies for taking up so much space here. I think, based on the feedback I have gotten, that we have four favorites for a possible design. Brooklyn does such a great with graphics I am anxious to hear her feedback.


I would like to get a vote on which one you like best; if you would seriously consider purchasing one (need to get an idea of count so we can get a more defined quote on price) and if so, how many you are interested in purchasing. Then I'll send the winners off and see what they can do with them.

The first design is the one that seemed to get the most positive feedback, but I have brightened it up.
NUMBER 1

The next is the red map. I brightened the white and made the text a little crisper
NUMBER 2

Third is the M&M & D&D with our slogons
NUMBER 3

Last is silhouettes of the fab 5 and our slogans. I have given you examples of it in blue and violet, green and orange. If your vote is for #4, then give me also your color choice (doesn't have to be one I am showing you, just wanted to show you how different it looks when you change the colors).

I wish I could say I would get whatever is decided, but I see no point if I don't like it. So I can safely say I will not be getting one if it is number 3. Sorry. I just don't see why I would buy something I don't like.
