So, who would get into trouble, the person purchasing or the company selling? It seems this company would/should know what they can and can't print and sell regarding copyrights???

I like the silhouette and having everything the same color on the background.

I have heard back regarding shirts for teddy bears and matching dresses to be worn with the shirts. They do not make anything but shirts. However, Becky said that if we buy the shirts they would sell the material for $15 a yard so we could have them made ourselves. However, it would be the same material, not a smaller print so might not work for teddy bear shirts. Nice of them to try and accomodate us though.

Do we know how wide the fabric is? I'll take apart one of OC's shirts to use for a pattern to calculate how much material we'll need for Teddy bear shirts. How many would want Teddy Bear shirts? I need 2.

I was thinking this same thing. I would think that if the company does it, for a profit, that would make them the copy right offenders, should there actually be a copy right issue. I don't think that they would be able to do anything to the purchaser of the product, because the purchaser in not making a profit. That is what I am thinking. But, of course I could be wrong.

Scrapbook Class by Seaulater

Details: On sea day, probably at 1 in the afternoon. Supplies provided by seaulater: the scrapbooks, the paper, the supplies and everything needed to complete the scrapbook- all you have to do is add pictures.

Cost will be determined (but probably about $20).

For right now: just PM Seaulater that you are interested in attending class and more details will be forthcoming once it gets closer to the cruise (probably about 60 days out).

Fish Extender list info: This is a list of those that wish to participate in putting gifts (purchased or homemade items) in other's "extenders" (anything hanging off the "fish" outside the stateroom door that is generally used to receive mail/etc. to your room) and receive same from others. One last design. Alot of you liked the green & brown (my favorite) but mentioned the horizontal strips were not figure friendly so I redesigned making it vertical. Took out the obvious Disney characters and just put in silhouette almost hidden characters. Added wording specific to our cruise.

I know that when I ordered a personalized shirt from Disney (keep in mind this was their own company), they were very particular about not just images but wording. They made me change the wording 3 times. Things like it had to spell our Disney Cruise Line it couldn't say DCL etc. Although I really appreciate all the work that is going into this, and it would be very cool to have these, I'm concerned that the fact it is a retail shop selling the shirts and not individuals making their own t-shirts that could put the company in jeapordy for a lawsuit.

Of course I'm not a lawyer and I don't play one on TV either! So, I may be concerned over nothing.

I know that Disney is crazy over copyright issues. I bought a maiden voyage hoodie and the embroidery is coming undone. I can't get anyone to fix it for me because it is Disney and I can't get Disney to write a letter stating it is ok to have it fixed. A lot of companies are afraid of Disney. I would love to have the shirt but it does leave me wondering. But then again, you can use cafe express for Disney shirts without problems.
