Of course, I'll be there. We all have a lot of time to prepare for many great new and tried and true group events. We had Daisy Duck join us on the PC wonder if we can luck out and get Lilo. Will need to bring an extra boa/lei and tiara just in case.

BTW - little CG history...
It was started for the 2008 Westbound Panama Canal cruise. Mandy & Deb came up w/ the idea & the rest is history We've had meets on the 09 Tortola cruise (w/ Deb), there was 1 on the WBTA last year & I know we have one on the 1st Alaska (with Deb) and the November Dream cruise (don't remember which part of the B2B, also w/ Deb).

I loved being part of the CG on the WBPC in 2008! I actually learned I am not a big champainge drinker except for Rosa Ragale (I know it is actually a sparkling red wine)


There is a CG event also on the EBTA in May.

Would you like a column on the spreadsheet for this?

I would say start a separate sheet instead of a column on the roll call sheet if we do it.

I just verified my cruise and it says my PIF date is now December 1, 2011. On the phone they said Feb 14, 2012. Anyone who transfered ressies is your date December or Feb?

Our email confirmation says Feb. I haven't checked online to see what it says, but we'll pay it whenever our TA tells us we have to LOL

Hi Everyone!

Count us in! Hopefully the prices wont be too scary.

We are currently scheduled to be on the LA-Vancouver repo then B2B with the first Alaskan cruise. We booked these on day one bac in Sept of 09. If the price for the 15 day Hawaii is comparable to the 13 day back to back we are doing this month, then we will probably go for it.

There are four of us. Myself (Gabe), wife (Judy) 2 boys Gabriel Jr (14) and Jacob (2).

For the 2 cruises we paid 5,092 (Alaska Cat 5b verandah) and 2,772 (LA-Va repo Cat 5b verandah) Total 7,864.

IF the Hawaii is similar to these 2 put together, we are in. Although we may just go for Oceanview instead of verandah to save some.

We have a dummy cruise booked for Jan 2012 which I am having our Travel agent transfer to this one, so we can save the 10 percent. I booked this one in Jan this year on our MR cruise thinking ahead to this scenario.

I remember when the last Panamal canal cruise came out in Sept 09 the prces were just too high for us. We got a quote of 10,152 for the four of us at a cat 5b with the 10 percent off. Thats why we decided to do the LA to Vanc. Repo and Alaska B2B instead.

Now its just a matter of waiting...

Wait- are you booked b2b like THIS april/may Alaska? Cause we are too!!! And we'll be gold after the first cruise of the b2b... I really wish they'd waited a couple weeks to announce this so we could have done that cruise and been able to book on the first day. sigh

I have just instructed my travel agent to try to get us an inside cabin for this cruise. She reckons it will sell out tomorrow. Well, if it does then I hope that this happens after we have our reservation.

Oh lawd- I'm not young either but I sure hope I'm NOT a grandma by the time of this cruise- could happen... but hope not. LOL

WE ARE BOOKED! called at 8 am EST was told hold would be 162 minutes - got off the phone 5 minutes ago - only 101 minutes!

We are on Deck 6 in an 11b (no sideways left) in cabin 6113
Price: 6501.44 - this is with a transferred booking so I did get my discount!

1740 (give or take the cents) per first two including taxes, fees, etc.

1510 (give or take the cents) for 3rd and 4th passengers (17 yo/15yo)

Cabin will be 2adults/2children

Transferred my WBTA for 2011 to this - if we decide to still do the WBTA in september, we will book it on the EBTA in May.

Oh sweet - our final payment is due on Valentines Day!

I had to update my signature and avatar bc I am so excited! I won't have my regular computer for the next 6 weeks so I will perfect my signature then. I did the best I could with what I had here on my laptop!

Jason and I are booked. We're still not 100% positive we'll be able to do the trip (depends on whether we can get the vacation time cleared at work) but we wanted to have a stateroom in case we can...if we have to cancel later, we will.

So as of right now, we're onboard. Stateroom #6062 (mid-ship Category 5B).

If they can get bookings. Rumor has it that DCL reps were telling people throughout the day there is a fair chance that much of the ship will be sold out today to Platinums and Golds....and another friend of mine (who hasn't logged onto this list yet) got shut out of some of the categories of rooms she was looking for....so i have a feeling this cruise sold like hotcakes today!

I will cry so hard you don't even know- if we're unable to get on the ship tomorrow. And how unfair only gold and platinums get the entire ship? (okay maybe I'm just a bit bitter about the fact we're already paid- and can't cancel- on our gold +1 for our upcoming b2b cruises in a cpl of weeks and wish I could have booked this one as gold! LOL)

On the WBPC in 2008 there were so many Castaway Club members (this is before the tiers - and everyone was invited) they just had a big deck party! For me that has been the only cruise that has happened on. It will be interesting to see our numbers of each category for this cruise! Maybe we can add that to the spread sheet?

I was so glad to be able to book this cruise today. I had a department meeting at 8:30am, unfortunately, so I wasn't able to call in until nearly 10am. By the time I got through, the 11Cs were sold out so I had to take an 11B. Fortunately, the pricing wasn't as bad as I feared it might be. For comparison, it cost me just about the same amount for the 12 night Jan 2013 Celebrity OZ/NZ cruise I booked (also inside cabin).

Unfortunately, I didn't have a spare onboard booking reservation I could move, so I had to book the reservation fresh. I'll try to reshop it when I'm on the Wonder in a few weeks, but I suspect it will be sold out by then. At least I'll be Platinum by the time this Hawaii cruise rolls around so I'll have a free dinner at Palo at least.

The EB 2005 PC cruise was just like it. They had the party on deck. It was really quite nice!

Our January Magic cruise had less than a dozen people - quite different from when we were Silver and were invited and it took over Rockin Bar D, Sessions and Diversions. Now, needing the deck to hold us all; wow. I heard there was a recent cruise with TWO people in attendance - not my idea of fun. I want a crowd for this. Love meeting people who've been on a gazillion cruises.

I'm Gold at this point with a date of December 31 quoted on the phone. Feb 14 would be the 75-day mark, which would apply to those new cruisers tomorrow.
