Morning everyone. I was just cathcing up on the last several pages. I am waiting to hear from my TA. She said it would be this afternoon since she will get everyone booked before sending out e-mails. We're hoping for a Cat 9. Right now we a scheduled for this in April, the PodCast cruise in June, a 5 night Canadian in August, and 7 nights on the Fantasy in December. Unless I win the lottery someting is going to have to give. Right now I am thinking Canada.

I checked the DCL reservation site and the only categories they will allow you to quote are ocean view 9A and family verandah 4E, B & A. It will not allow you to continue beyond the quote for the 9A nor the 4E. 4B & A are GTY. My TA told me DCL is not allowing Agencies to block groups of cabins until 4-25 so it seems all the cabins are assigned to individual cruisers. WOW.

It will be interesting to see how many cancellations go in before the final payment date.

My DH booked it as a surprise for me I havent seen anything yet i know im in a verandah i think 6536. Ive never been on a longer cruise cant wait!!! Looking forward to chatting with everyone

Champagne Girls again??

Hi Lori, I'm not sure who Val is but I wanted to introduce myself. I'm Deb/EllaEnchanted. I hosted the very first Champagne Girls Tasting on the WBPC in May 2008. Since then it has spread like wildfire.....which I'm delighted about.

Mandy/UKAngel and I came up with the idea in the first place. She and I will both be on this cruise and it's the first time that we'll be doing the Champagne Girls together. I'm so excited about that.

So YES there will definitely be a Champagne Girls Tasting on this cruise and I will be very happy to host it for all of us.

I think it's WAY too early to start a list though. I'm hosting another one on the first Alaska cruise.....so that has all my attention at the moment. I'll get you more details on what the Champagne Girls are all about after I return from Alaska. It's worth the wait!!!!

I bookmarked it.....I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. But please be aware that for every tasting that I do, I provide the boas and tiaras so that we all look the same for our pink picture. Waiting to hear from Dreams...we'll see what's available for us.

We're hoping for two inside cabins, (DH, myself, and our two boys, and one for DB, DSIL and Dniece and Dnephew) and a verandah for our parents...

So...if one thinks a little ahead...obviously some holds for cabins are going to expire without bookings, and some bookings are going to cancel...
What to do??

Of course, I'll be there. We all have a lot of time to prepare for many great new and tried and true group events. We had Daisy Duck join us on the PC wonder if we can luck out and get Lilo. Will need to bring an extra boa/lei and tiara just in case.

So, we are Mandy and Mark from Reading in the UK, and this will be our 6th DCL cruise......and well be celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary onboard ( for those that don't know us we met here on the DIS and honeymooned with DCL)

........oh and Jackie, don't kill me for for cancelling our b2b please, but we couldn't do both!


It's going to be great to see old and new friends!

Hi Angel, I'm so happy we'll be cruising to Hawaii together. As well as doing our very first Champagne Girls Tasting together. This is going to be a trip of a lifetime. Awesome!!!!!

Ladies, this is the Co-Original Champagne Girl that dreamed up this whole thing with me. Unfortunately, Angel had to cancel the PC crossing so I ended up hosting it by myself. I'm so happy that we'll finally be able to do it together. This will be my favorite CG gathering. I'm so happy to be able to host this one. We will have a lot of fun!!!

OH VAL....I'm going to cry......you are just so very sweet to say all that.

It all happened quite naturally....we were chatting on the disboards one day and went to get a cup of coffee and wished that we could be sharing the coffee together. Then we both decided that if it was going to be a little party, we should ditch the coffee and go for the champagne. We chatted about how we are both girly girls and love pink. That's how it all started. We said we would love to do a DCL Champagne Girls tasting with only Ladies and everyone wearing pink and tiaras. We would take a picture and put it in a pink frame above the bar. Then we were delighted to find out that we had a mascot.....Sassy Bubbles.....who comes dressed as a pink tink. (Sassy will be on this sailing with us!!! YEAH!!!!)

It all kind of snowballed from there and I'm so very flattered that it did. I think it's great that everyone wants to keep it going. I even think PINK on the Dream was named after us. Hahaha.

This is definitely going to be the BEST and most special Champagne Girls EVER!!! CHAMPAGNE GIRLS FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!

Corinna - so glad you both will be on this cruise too. Are you sure we can't get you to move your first of October cruise to the Halloween cruise?

I wish I could. I had to move heaven and earth to get the vacation time confirmed and now I am stuck with this.

I will be more than happy to pay the DCL price, after what happened to my wife on the PC cruise in Cabo, there is no way I will ever book anything on my own.

What did happen? Sorry to be nosy, but we are heading to Cabo again in October and if there is a potential problem about doing Cabo on our own, I rather know about it.

After being on hold for 2 hours, I got thru and was able to book for hubby and myself; Lindsay and bf and many of my clients. It's so great to see so many familiar faces on this cruise especially from the WB 2010 Transatlantic.

BTW - little CG history...
It was started for the 2008 Westbound Panama Canal cruise. Mandy & Deb came up w/ the idea & the rest is history We've had meets on the 09 Tortola cruise (w/ Deb), there was 1 on the WBTA last year & I know we have one on the 1st Alaska (with Deb) and the November Dream cruise (don't remember which part of the B2B, also w/ Deb).

We had a wonderful CGs meet on the PC this year. DCL actually provided the drinks and the staff to do a proper tasting.

Of course, I'll be there. We all have a lot of time to prepare for many great new and tried and true group events. We had Daisy Duck join us on the PC wonder if we can luck out and get Lilo. Will need to bring an extra boa/lei and tiara just in case.

We're booked, Cat 4B GTY, all that was left for a family of 5. Yes. For those of you who may remember me from the 2008 WBTA, I did have 2 kids, but another on the way!
I am Hayley. Sailing with DH and DD11, DD9 and new baby, Will be about 8 months. We are from Australia.
I see lot's of familiar faces here, looks like it's going to be a reunion cruise!

After I did not manage to meet up with you at WDW last year, I am glad that I get a second chance to meet you. How did you like the jewellery that Mandy made? I was sick as soon as I got off the ship which kind of threw my WDW plans into disarray. Apparently I was suffering from land sickness.

I am looking forward to CGs. I hope it is OK with you if I bring my own tiara and lei. As I mentioned above, I have issues with feathers. I wore a tiara with feathers on the WBTA and I was scratching myself raw afterwards. I promise I will gracefully bow out of the group photo if I stick out like a sore thumb.

Well, I just decided to check out the situation for this cruise and there is no more availability at all. I am so glad that we decided to play this safe and got our travel agent to book this yesterday for us.

No need to bring your own boa and tiara....and we want you IN the picture not out. I will be providing everything. I will definitely do the pink leis....so no feathers.....and Jackie/ibouncetoo suggested that we do flowers in our hair. I like that idea. I'll see if I can find some pink silk hawaiian ones.
