We are on the wait list for a handicap room and if one becomes accessible we will be leaving a verandah room. I will post on here hopefully before it is released if possible.

Judy

Bob was using a wheel chair when I first booked but there were no handicap rooms available so we were put on a wait list too. Last week my TA called and said DCL called to say new laws require they terminate the handicap wait list so we would need to just call often if we want to try and get one. You might want to check into this.

Just checking in :surfweb:we are getting ready for a WDW trip on Sept26-Oct 2nd:banana: I can hardly wait:woohoo: we will be staying at BWV:cool1:Gene & Cheryl

Sounds like a very silly law, of which I do not comprehend. Wishing you all luck on getting the room you want.

Unfortunately, it looks like we are going to have to cancel our booking. There are a couple of events at DS's school we don't want to miss while we would be gone, and DW doesn't think she can spend that long on a ship all at once. So I expect we'll let our 10B go very soon.

Sorry to all that have to cancel. I know how hard that is to do. i am still dealing with some health problems which I hope don't interfere with this trip.

I am sure that somebody posted this on here before, but I cannot find it here or anywhere else. Does anybody know what the shipping address is to ship something ahead to the Wonder?

Corinna

Oh geez - I should have proofread... I meant to say there's *probably* a debe and debh on the cruise. Proof I shouldn't post before coffee. :-)

debg

OH OK....actually that makes way more sense. Either way we should meet for that drink. debf and debg....there has to be a story behind it. hahaha. But I have to agree that there are always a lot of Deb's everywhere you go. I'm sure you grew up with it the same as I did. Every class in school there was anywhere from 4 to 6 Debbie's from elementary school to high school. My mom named me after Debbie Reynolds. How about you?

Hi Corinna, it was with the champagne girls info on page one. Not the spreadsheet, but the DIS info page. It was at the bottom. But now all that is at the bottom is the San Pedro port information. I will find it and repost it again for you.

Thanks. I would never have found it there. Shame that the address has disappeared.

Hi Everyone!!!!!
So, I've been away from the boards for a while, I had my baby boy Orlando on the 1st August, he is perfect in everyway.:love::love:
We sold our house and bought another and are moving in a month, so between looking after a newborn and packing to move house I haven't had much spare time!
Can someone please let me know if there is anything major I've missed?
Has anything been finalised with the FE's?
Thanks guys :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

We are still hoping for an accessible stateroom with a verandah. We have an ocean view now, but we long for a verandah!

There might be one opening up closer to the final payment, maybe.
:cloud9:

My fingers are crossed for you! I hope you are able to get the cabin you want at the right price!

I really hope you are able to get the room you need. DH and I know how awful it is to cruise without an accessible stateroom. I will try to check periodically and PM you if something comes up!

Disney never seems to be consistent with this (or anything really). But I think the allocation of the rooms could be handled much better. I hope you and Bob are able to get the stateroom you need.

I am so sorry you have to cancel. I hope you enjoy the time at your son's school!

Congratulations! I am sure you are just eating him up! There is a google spreadsheet link on the first post where you can sign up for a bunch of great activities. Also, Val has graciously organized a group shirt order, more information is on post #3 of this thread. Welcome back!

I hope everyone is having a great week!

Congratulations! We are excited to meet this perfect little addition to your family.

Thanks - we are good, he isn't using a wheel chair now and hopefully won't be in April. I didn't take us off the list just in case and decided we would just decline if he still didn't need it. I find it hard to believe they stopped the list because of a law, but that is what they told my TA, that it was not legal to have a waiting list????? Seemed like it would have been the opposite.

It would be nice if we could snag an accessible verandah room, then you could have our oceanview handicapped accessible room!

My son just booked me a flight to San Francisco the first week of December! He's moving to Palo Alto for his job the middle of October, but he has no apartment, he has to buy a car, and the first week of November he's going to New York City for his job.

So......he's leaving the cat with us (our grandcat) and I am taking her out to him in December. I have never flown with an animal (only Chuck and Patrick) anybody got any advice?

This is probably not the right thread to ask this, but you all seemto know everything!
