Hi everybody! I just wanted to stop by and say Thank Youagain to Ellaenchanted for helping me get started on organizing the first Pink Champagne Girls meet on the Fantasy Maiden Voyage. We had a blast! Our tasting was at Ooh La La and our sommelier was George. We were given initially 4 different champagnes to taste. Then at the end we got a surprise and were given a champagne cocktail that George our sommelier created for us. It was made with the Signature Taittinger Nocturne champagne created for Ooh La La, frangelico and creme de cacao served along with various flavors of panna cotta. Afterwards, I had organized a group picture through Shutters and DCL for us. They guys that attended didn't seem to mind wearing pink and we all thought they looked quite dashing in their feather boas and tiaras

.
That sounds so good. Time to think about packing.
But, I just un-packed.
I thought I read where there is NO Pirate Night. Is that right?
2 Formal and 1 semi-formal nights?
Whatever is the case, looking forward to this cruise.
Also looking forward to seeing friends new and OLD.![]()
I spoke with Dorothy on Monday and she explained all the venues are not necessarily full, it is just that the CD's dept on board has told the Special Requests dept to close their scheduling. She explained that right at that time, the Cadillac was available the same time the Champagne Girls event was being held but she could not assign it anyone because the ship had told her "no more special requests can be scheduled".
I could not get color yesterday but can today.
Welcome!
TWO WEEKS!

I have read where many of you had made brunch reservations at Palo. Then a number of you put together 'special groups', and you will utilize the private room for your brunch. Those who had individual brunch reservations and have now converted to a group reservation, should that not now 'free up' some individaul brunch reservations?
I have been checking numerous times a day and never see any openings. Either I others are getting the openings or DCL has not offered the openings. Any thoughts would be appreciated. If all else fails, I will be one of those in line at the Palo Desk, day one.
YAY!!! I got my color back!!!!
I know Dorothy. I like her a lot. I have sent her pictures of the champagne girls in the past. Now I have to deal with David. He's okay, but I really like Dorothy.
Who is the CD's dept on board???
I can understand why they said to close the special requests scheduling. It's only two more weeks and they have to prepare.
I do recall on one of my longer cruises, DCL 'forgot' to cancel the individual Palo reservations. I think it was actually deliberate as there were so many sea days. ( I also could be mis-remembering and it was dinners not brunches that this happened for).
Perhaps someone who is in one of the groups can check and see if their activities still show their individual Palo brunch.

CD =cruise director
