I have chips, I will bring them.

Okay, so I think we've settled on a "no-money" tourney for now. If we come up with a way to "sweeten the pot" after we get onboard that meets the DCL rules, we can change the plan.

Everyone will just get $100 worth of chips to begin play.

I have one set of poker chips and 2 sets of cards. I need at least 2 other participants to bring along a set of chips (so we have 3 sets total) - Can someone out there offer to do that?

I think we'll plan on a date/time of Wednesday, May 9th at 1pm. We'll have to wait on a place until we know what venue will be open. But, let's tentatively plan on Diversions.

Hi all! Beautiful weather today and extremely calm seas! Today we had brunch at Palo and had Klaudia as our server. We were talking about what the seas may be like going to Hawaii and apprently she said they culd be pretty choppy! Lets cross out fingers we have flat seas like I am having right now!

We booked the Roy suite over a year ago. When I saw it available and what I thought was a reasonable price, I discussed it with my inlaws and we decided to go for it! It is beautiful and very roomy! With such clam seas, it looks as if we are in an ocean front hotel room in Hawaii!

I will update the laundry service prices when I get a new paper. I seem to have misplaced the original. I know we had 1 dress dry cleaned, 2 of my boy's shirts pressed and my in laws had 3 things pressed and out total was $11 and change.

For those in concierge, I am totally jealous! Two weeks in a suite would be great! The regular suites get 100 free internet minutes while the Royal suites get unlimited minutes. When we were in a Cat T last Nov, they did refill our waters and sodas and the same is true for the Royal suites. We can order Palo in the room as well as from the dining rooms too. When we were in the Cat T, we could order from the dining rooms but not Palo.

Internet has been much better than I anticipated!

DIsneyland Pre-Cruise Meet


Currently planned for for 7:30 - 8:30 pm Saturday April 28 by the fireplace in the Grand Californian Lobby -

To attend: please pm your cell phone number nlt Saturday 4/28 at 6 am with DL Meet in the subject line and I will then give you mine - I don't want to just post it on the public forum. If the timing doesn't work for those who sign up, we will come to a new agreement.

If you plan to show up without pm-ing first - we may not be there.

For those who have sent me messages asking if I changed the "minnie" Dis meet at the Doubletree, the answer is no. This meet is in addition to not instead of the one at the Doubletree on the 28th at 8 pm in the lobby area near the bar. Do both. Let the parties begin.

I am kicking myself right now! and about ready to burst into tears.
First off, Hi again everyone. It's been a really long time since I've logged on and kept up with all the DISers. I've been working and going to school 7-9pm weekdays, not to mention spending time with the family on weekends. Anyway, I shouldn't complain, I've got a job now and I'm REALLY looking forward to our cruise.
Anyway, I would just jump on and check the spreadsheet periodically and I never noticed any changes. This week is my spring break and I was getting ready to do the FE gifts. I log on and start reading, backtracking all the posts and I get to all the posts with all the activities closing. So I'm off the FE gift exchange. I just responded to a couple of PMs but I wouldn't blame them for saying it's too late. It's all my fault. I should've known something was wrong when the spreadsheet wasn't showing any updates. I should've just popped in and asked.
Sorry to lay that all on you, I just don't know how I'm going to break it to the family. I really dropped the ball on this one.

I got to page 38 and am reading about the mess Heather went through with the FEs. I didn't realize so much was going on on Facebook. I don't do Facebook so I never looked into it. I also didn't realize how many of you have worked on your gifts so long ago and probably have them all done and ready to go. (I'm kind of a procrastinator, got my taxes done today and was proud for getting them done early!)
There's more happiness in giving than receiving right? So I think I'll just take the kids and find random FEs and drop in a little gift. I think my kids will love it!

I love to deliver fe gifts - I did three rounds on our 7 day cruise, but they weighed less and there were FAR fewer of them

Good Morning - if you have time, could you check and see what the cost of cleaning a "gown" would be - is it more than a dress....the same for a tux, is it more than a suit. Thank you, if you have time....
