GOOD Morning, Happy Cruisers!

Wishing everyone a happy sunny holiday Sunday, whatever you're celebrating!

I suppose it will be pretty quiet around the thread today, with so many busy with family things. We're going out to brunch with some other "familyless" friends. Should be fun - we rarely go out to eat except on vacation and this is a new place for us too - a country club where one of the others belongs.

Hello everyone....3 weeks from right now DW and I will be jetting to LAX arriving at LAX 8:10 California time....we are staying at the LAX Marriott.....anyone staying there the night before with us? Gonna be a long day that Saturday but we will have 15 glorious nights to rest up!

Yep. DH and I are staying at the Marriott on the 28th. We should arrive around 9:45am LA time and are planning on going over to DL since we've never been and spending the day there. We are using Disney transportation to get us to the port, so I've heard the bus will pick us up around noonish on Sunday. Soooooo Excited.

Hello all....I know a lot of my fellow cruisers are on the Panama Canal cruise next year in May...I just happened to check my reservation and then checked the web site and the cost of my stateroom has gone down $400.
So I don't know if I should just wait til we get on the ship to rebook or call DCL tomorrow. Was going to attempt to rebook anyway on the ship for the 10% and the onboard credit. Interesting.

I wish someone would because it was a lot of fun on Inaugural Alaska cruise. I would offer but I am swamped with personal issues right now and probably would mess it up

Despite living in L.A. we are taking Disney transfers as well from LAX. It is cheeper than a private van for the two if us and we really don't know anyone with a car big enough for all the bags. Since I have monthly parking at LAX that's already paid for so no parking expenses. Now if you see a small group at the Club 33 door on the 28th around 11:50 say hi to us. If you see a guy wearing a Dodger hat, frantically leasing around two people around the parks in the afternoon or evening, that is me. Say hi.

Just got back yesterday from the Fantasy!! What a wonderful cruise-DCL learned so much from the Dream MV! not much time, but wanted to post the group pic of the Pink Champage Girls from the MV. My oldest got a fever the last night of the cruise, feeling better now since I found our emergency antibiotics for him-actually wanted food tonight. The youngest has been battling upper respiratory the last 2 nites of the cruise, giving him nebulizer treatments. DH is now laid up in bed hacking away!! Now my middle son has a fever and not wanting to do his homework. Looks like it's making it's way around. I do not have time to get sick. I have another cruise to get ready for.
Sorry if this comes out really big, just scanned the 8x10 photo. Shutters had given it to me as part of my portfolio. I purchased the special they had going on. $350 for the CD and for $50 more one complete set of all pics they took of us with the borders. So took advantage of that deal!! I got this because I booked thru AAA and was given a photo package for each cabin (2 8x10's and 4 6x8's $100 value). Shutters was able to just give me a $200 credit for the CD and photos. They take pics on the Aquaduck of the Fantasy. Alot of kinks to work out, but we managed to get a couple of ours.

The deal on the MV was that the men were allowed to join in, but they had to have the pink shirt and wear the boa and tiara during the whole event, and they did!!
