Does anyone know how crowded the parks are this time of year? We don't get to LA until around 12:30 (noon) on the 27th and were planning on doing park time after we got settled into our hotel. So, probably about 2:30 or 3pm. Hoping to get both parks in between that afternoon/evening and the whole day of the 28th. Just wondered what to expect crowd wise and if we should be able to get thru them and enjoy most the rides we like.:hippie:

It will start getting busy around 4-6 as school, weekenders start to arrive, and work get out on the 27th. Sat is always busy.

Diving is a challenge due to the time and place where the Wondet gets in. Dive boast normally leave at 6:30 in the morning. Hilo is out all together and the better diving on the Big Island is on Kona - or at night....so no dive there. Maui we are diving in the morning but shore diving. We are renting a car - driving to the dive --- good news is that it will be shallow so hence it will be long. We have an option of a two tank, depends on the time as we need to get back to the ship for the Luau bus...(drive into Lahina, drive back - drop off car, change, get bus drive back...)...but we have ben to Maui before but never dove the Pacific. Ohau we are not diving, and then back to diving on Kuai, again, we are renting a car and driving. It will either be a two tank boat dive or a shore dive, depending on their schedule.
If I had never been to Hawaii before I would not dive this trip. It will take a lot of time for not a lot of diving. But as we have stayed on all of these islands, and we are also from the Atlantic coast, it is what we want to do.
Thank you for the info. We were at Aulani at the beginnings February but the weather wasn't great so we didn't dive. Hope to dive the Pacific/Hawaii some time. Would love to hear about the dives.

Jan, OC is short for "out of control" - LOONG story.
Kugelbelle, I think Socababy is going to find out this week - she's on a MR cruise on the wonder.
Thank you.

This is awesome...Jan you did a great job. My daughter is also a huge Goofy fan. On the car we drive my side has a Tinkerbell on back window and her side has a Goofy. Miss not having radio antenna on cars because we used to have a awesome Goody ball.

Folks at DL - do we want to try for a meet either in Downtown Disney or the lobby at GC on Saturday night? Or is that too busy. We're doing World of Color on Friday night and I think HappyGoofy is also.

Hello everyone....3 weeks.....wow.....Happy Passover and Easter to all....just a quick question.....any word on the entertainment for our cruise?
Thanks all....have a great night all!

Actually we have found that Saturday is less busy than Sunday as the locals are blocked out on Sat. It should be fine, take advantage of the fast pass options. Get your fastpass for StarTours first thing in the morning. They go the fastest. Toy Story does not have fast pass, so get a fastpass for Screamin then wait for Toy Story and the fast pass for Screamin is ready for you. Be sure to check out the new show in Ca AD Minnies Fly girls Minnie actually is singing!

Does anyone have any idea what the weather should be like on our sea days?

It looks like averages are 78-82 in May on the islands, but will it be that warm on the ship going over/coming back??

The year we did the Pannama Canal trip we came up the coast to LA in early May. The last day at sea was as cold as I ever been on the ship. They were handing blankets out at the pool.

I think the Pacific Ocean is cold and if we have winds it keeps it chilly. I am expecting to be bunded up at the pool the first day, but after that it will only get better. I hope I am wrong about the first day and it is 80 and sunny.

Oh this is so, so cute....you guys are so creative,.....

Good Morning All. It is a beautiful daybhere.

So glad you have a beautiful day there..where ever "there" is :) Here in my home east of Seattle it is a beautiful sunny day BUT all the roofs are white when I look out the window so it is in the 30's :sad1: I am guessing that a few miles from here it is probably a good 10 degrees warmer so I am going to go out shortly and find warmth :). Love the crisp clean air and all the trees etc but living in the "foothills" means we are always 5-10 degrees different then most of the area. Hawaii is looking good !!!!

Have a great day everyone...

We had big, floaty flakes of snow all day yesterday. It was not cold enough for them to "stick" though. Today we are back to sunshine and should be warming into the 60s by tomorrow. We are looking forward to Hawaii for sure!!
