Hi All,
DH & I (Bruce & Debbie) will be sailing on this Hawaii cruise - YAY!!! Wanted to introduce us to everyone and have a question for those that have already booked excursions...
We wanted to book the "glitchy" IAO Valley & Maui Tropical Plantation excursion & like others on here, we had to call. For those that called to book it, can you now "see" it online?
When I pull up our cruise online & go to our calendar, Maui day does show "port excursion" but when I click on the day I get a blank box (no excursion name or info). To the left of the blank box it says "9:15am - 1:15pm" and to the right of the blank box it says "Attendees - Bruce, Debra".
Is this the way it is for others that were able to book this by phone?
I just have to throw this in... We are huge Disney fans - this will be our 13th Disney cruise, we were on the Dream MV, we will be on the Fantasy MV, we own DVC, we're annual passholders, etc. Having said all that - Disney has the ABSOLUTE WORST websites I have ever had to deal with. How can such a technologically advanced company be unable to create websites that actually work??? I shudder to think what will happen on Jan 19th when DVC owners can start booking online!

Greetings folks,
A few weeks ago, I mentioned to my wife that Disney would be having cruises out of Galveston in 2012 (much closer to Houston than Florida port - from which we've gone on DCL cruises twice). Well, she went to the website and was looking at those cruises, when wouldn't you know, she noticed a couple of cruises to Hawaii. Hmmmm . . . hadn't we talked about taking a vacation to Hawaii one of these years? Turns out we had a nice bunch of DVC points from 2010&2011 we hadn't been able to use, and to make a long story shorter, sometime early last week I think, right after new years, she was on the phone with DVC and was able to book this April cruise to Hawaii! Wow. I'd figured that with tickets going on sale last April, they would have been sold out for sure, but I guess there've been some cancellations. So we're happy to be joining you all. Don't think I'll ever get caught up on all the posts on these threads, but I do see that a lot of summaries are listed in the first pages. I think we'll be interested in lanyards, so thats an email to get off soon, plus she may be interested in one of the jewelry classes.
This will be a first visit to Hawaii for both of us. Looking forward to it - have ordered that Hawaii by Cruise book, plus waiting to be able to reserve any excursions we would like end of this month. Cabin is still gty. Been pondering what sort of modifications they'll have to the standard cruise for this one - Dinners, Shows, Entertainment, etc. Looking forward to all the *Special* things they could do - would love to see a luau night on ship, but not too hopeful about their turning an empty swimming pool into a huge pig roasting pit. Still, some Hawaiian themed dinners would be fun.
We've already got air reservations made, day before and day after cruise. Believe we're staying at Disneyland Hotel both times (DVC points again).
Aloha.
Jim & Kathy
Kinda wish I had a dummy reservation but I don't.![]()
Welcome AboardI am also doing the Iao tour. The same thing shows up on my reservation, your not alone. I do believe that it is still booked though.

I have been super busy and it is really hard to keep up with this board! I am soooo excited about the champagne girls, jewelry making, secret mickey, and FE!
I'm also dying to book excursions (and really wanted to book tea at Palo...we'll see later)!
There has been discussion about a facebook page. Can someone give me that link? I couldn't find it when doing a disney cruise hawaii search
I hope I didn't miss out on too much more!![]()

Hope it is to somewhere we have not been with Disney- maybe Greece or Australia
Is the Secret Mickey Sheet on page one the one that is being used-it only goes up to the letter H and we are the last one on it.

I see that there are a few people staying at the GC hotel. Is there anyone there willing to see if there is a place we can have a meet before the cruise. We are at PP and I don't think there are too many staying there. It is close for us to walk there. Another thought is a resturant in Downtown Disney but not being really familiar with the places there is there someone that can arrange something there?

Welcome to the crew!
The nice thing is that come April 29th, you can make one.
Thanks for the welcome & the reassurance on the excursion!
Debbie
Welcome on board.
Welcome on board.
This explains why I got an email from my travel agent today to check if we are interested in booking any cruises on the Magic or Wonder in 2013.
Either Greece or Australia would be fine by us, too
You are good to go as far as Secret Mickey is concerned. I am just keeping the original sheet up for now as this helps me to track who has filled out the new form. Only MJ Girl and I have access to the spreadsheet that the forms feed into. This will help to avoid it getting totally messed up like the original sheet. Once I have seen that somebody has filled out the form, I delete them from the old spreadsheet.

no.no.no connie dont drop out. Im thinking the groups will be 24 or 25 as alot of people have requested and I can make sure you get in a group. Those that want to give more can as I am doing. it doesnt have to be anything big but will be fun to be part of.
Wowzer!! Looks like it would take ALOT of planning, coordinating and then probably rebooking onboard once you get the schedule for the clubs. We do not have any kids with us this trip, but are thinking about taking grandkids of our friends at some point. (Yes, our grandkids grew up and now we are thinking we will have to borrow some!!) I guess if we do that we will just not plan any adult activities that trip.
I don't like it either.....
Your welcome to borrow my 3 ANYTIME
What I am more worried about is not being able to get any nursery time for my 9 month old. Fingers crossed there is some time left for us silvers.
OK, We have booked in to stay in San Diego for the 4 nights prior to the cruise. We've been to LA and Anaheim many times, never spent much time in San Diego, so thought it might be nice. Anyone else staying there???
has anyone done the Hana Road? We were thinking of doing it but were wondering if we should do that or ine of the crater ones
