Thanks for the good luck wishes, Elaine, it must have worked...we got everything we wanted :banana::banana:.

Got all of the excursions we wanted. There were no Brunch or Tea openings for April 30. But I did get a brunch on May 8 (First sea day on return).

We will try for Brunch or Tea for April 30 when we board.

That milestone is done!

Debbie

We also got the excursions we wanted and Palo Brunch and dinner the nights that we wanted. The only thing we didnt get was Palo Tea. I guess I will keep checking and then try once we get onboard.

we got are excruisions, but no Brunch....oh well did get a High Tea, never have done that, maybe we can squeeze a brunch out of them when we go for High Tea...

Not able to check in though....but that is ok.....need to get to bed!

Good luck eveyone

Robin & Angel "D" :thumbsup2

So that went fairly well. Got Palo diner on May 3rd which is our last sea day before we hit the islands, I had originally wanted to do brunch on one of the sea days going to the islands but everything I saw was sold out. So I booked diner on the way over and was able to book brunch on May-10 which is the 3rd sea day on our way back. High tea was sold out completly.

So here's what we got:

Hilo-Gourmet Volcano Adventure
Maui-Maui Ocean Center & Maui Tropical Plantaion
Old Lahaina Luau
Honolulu-Pearl Harbor VIP Military Base Tour
Nawiliwili-Garden Waterfall Tour at the McBryde & Allerton Gardens
Ensenada-Town, Country & Tequila

I didn't notice any port adventures that were sold out.

Congratulations all. Sounds like booking went well tonight. Now I have to wait to book friends traveling with us and then we can sail!!!! :dance3:

They fixed the time on the Oahu Haunted Tales excursion. It now is correctly listed as 6:45pm - 9:15pm.

Hi all,

I know we have been absent for months and months, but we are still booked and will be on the cruise with you. Like many others, 2011 was a tough year for us. My aunt, who I was legal custodian of, died May 3rd, then my husband started radiation treatments for cancer in late May. He's done now and his numbers look good, though he's still more tired than he was before. He does occasionally monitor the Facebook page for the cruise, while I try to keep up with the DIS side of things.

We changed our flight from Long Beach to John Wayne (since we're staying in Anaheim for a week after the cruise), and are wondering if anyone knows the best way to get from John Wayne (Orange County) airport to the DoubleTree at the port?

We definitely want to be part of the pre-cruise meet at the DoubleTree.

We were able to book all the excursions we wanted plus a Palo dinner, but all the brunches and high teas were sold out :-(.

We've been to HI before (twice for me, three times for Harry) so we bypassed some of the more popular excursions, as we'd done them before.

Would like to give you the overview of what we booked, but was not able to print everything out as I wanted to. I remember that someone posted how to print all your excursions and eveything within the last month of so, but can't find it now, so if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. This was all much easier on our last long cruise, before they changed the website.

Will try to get signed up for lanyards etc this weekend, as we leave for WDW next Sunday for two weeks.

BTW, it snowed here today! We're in the Puget Sound convergience zone (south Everett, north of Seattle) and there's about three inches on the ground and freezing temps predicted for the next four days or so. So I should have lots of time to read the DIS!

Just got mom all checked in and with a 11:00 port arrival. So we are almost all good. Now just need to have my silver friends get the 11:00 arrival.

Here's hoping Albert remembered to set that alarm for Ann! :lmao:

Oh yes, even the cup of tea and mopping the fevered brow:surfweb:

We got all we wanted except Iao Valley on Maui which still seems to throw up age restricted on line.

Hi Beth, I am in Redmond..where are you? Somewhere around Lynnwood maybe from description? We have to drive down for cruise since my daughter can't fly, but I am used to driving to Disneyland...just taking a contorted route in April. My best friend always flies from SF to meet us when we go to Disneyland (and is coming down day we get back to San Pedro) and she flies into John Wayne. She always takes the super shuttle - think it is the same name there - and as the retired owner of a travel agency I figure she knows what she is doing. I would call them and check it out.

I have posted on facebook cruise page to two others in Puget Sound area who are also on our cruise seeing if they would like to have a meeting in February/March so we all recognize each other onboard :-). Would you two be interested?

What do you mean by port arrival check in?? Have not run into that on past Disney west coast cruises?
