has anyone done the Hana Road? We were thinking of doing it but were wondering if we should do that or ine of the crater ones

Do you get car sick easily? When DH and I went to Hana, DH drove the first part of the way and I was getting queasy. very unusual -- I blamed the driver more than the winding road. We stopped to get Dramamine and DH came out of the store with everything BUT the pills. just as the store was closing. ahem. I drove the rest of the way so I could have some control of the swerving. My stomach was fine, but DH got queasy. We were going well over the speed limit (it was that or get run over by other cars!) and we were still being passed, on the curves, by the locals.

I proudly wear a t-shirt proclaiming that I survived the Road to Hana.

SCRAPBOOK CLASS UPDATE

Okay, so it is after the first of the year, so here is the info:

Scrapbook class will be held on the 2nd sea day (May 1st) at 12:30 p.m.
(UNLESS THERE ARE ROUGH SEAS AND THEN I WILL MAKE IT LATER IN CRUISE)

location to be announced.

Cost for class is $20.00 per book.

We will be making a 12 x 12 scrapbook exclusive for the theme of this Hawaii cruise. I provide the scrapbook, the paper, the adhesive and everything you need to do including the instructions. (I am driving to the port this time! HA..)

PM me to participate. I need your stateroom number also in case I need to call you because of a last minute change while on the ship.

I am starting to design the book this weekend. For those that have participated before, feel free to comment to give people an idea of what goes on and how hard it is., etc., etc.

I am so looking forward to this cruise. Hope to have the sample book completed by March so then I can spend April 8-25 putting everyone's packet together.

Oh, deadline to sign up to participate will be April 7th (since that is the day I get off the Fantasy!)

Your welcome to borrow my 3 ANYTIME What I am more worried about is not being able to get any nursery time for my 9 month old. Fingers crossed there is some time left for us silvers.

OK, We have booked in to stay in San Diego for the 4 nights prior to the cruise. We've been to LA and Anaheim many times, never spent much time in San Diego, so thought it might be nice. Anyone else staying there???

Not sure we would be able to get yours all the way here for a grandparent trip....but, if you need temporary grandparents for awhile on this trip so you can do some adult time just let us know.

Becky just wrote me that the fabric has been shipped and it is expected sometime this coming week. I can't wait to see it - hope it is all we want it to be.

She seems to think she will be able to fill the wait list and even a few more.
Therefore, anyone who missed the order date can put in their order and Becky will try to fill it from the overruns. Overruns will be at the same cost and quality as the rest.

I though I give everybody and update. I have been absolutely blown away by the interest in this. I have 27 people signed up and quite a few have asked to do multiple workshops. So I am going to be one busy bee.

Here is the breakdown:

Adult Fairies, Princess and Pirates workshop - I have 4 people signed up for this and this will go ahead. I have two more spaces on this workshop

Kid's Fairies, Princess and Pirates workshop - I have 2 people signed up for this.

Tween and Teen Fairies, Princess and Pirates workshop - I have 1 person signed up for this.

I will merge the Kid's and Tween and Teen Workshop and the new merged workshop will go ahead. I have still three spaces available for people between 6 and 17.

Teen and Tween Charm Bracelet workshop - I only have 1 person signed up for this and unless there are more people interested in this, this stands as cancelled.

Adult Charm Bracelet workshop - I have 29 slots taken up for this. The maximum slots that I will be able to accommodate for this is 36. So I have 7 spaces left.

I wonder if we have any early birds that have signed up for the adult bracelet workshops? I know that I will still be battling jetlag on the outbound sea days and wonder if there would be anybody interested in doing the workshop between 8:00 and 9:00. As the Outlook Cafe is not open at the time, we would do this at the Cove Cafe.
