We too have narrowed down our excursion selections....now to keep my fingers crossed that we can get them booked on December 31.

I saw lots to love on the excursion list, but whew. The prices are quite breathtaking. I wonder how difficult it would be to go to the Arizona / Missouri on ones own?

Only because I am too lazy to look it up ;):rotfl:

When can gold book excursions? Lots of choices!

I also wish that they would put the times for the offerings now so we can see if we can book 2 in a day.

Heading to WDW on Saturday! Then can concentrate on the excursions.

I need to wait till Jan 30....I hope at least something is still open and available from out list of excursions we would like to do.

Wow, so many excursions to choose from! I'd love to hear about what everyone is thinking about doing!

i can't believe some of the prices! I thought there was someone on this thread that was going to look into private van tours that a group of us could do on their own. Is that person still on this cruise? We would be interested in that type of tour especially if it involves less walking.

I did a 15 day cruise to Hawaii from Seattle a few years ago and I have to tell you these prices aren't as bad as we paid for excursions then. These prices are coming from Hawaii not from Disney I bet. The ones I did were very similar to a few of these, but there are at least 4x as many choices with Disney as with Holland America. Also saw car rentals thru cruise line that high then too.

I have to agree with the above. When doing research to see what might be offered, the one I have chosen in Honolulu is the same price on Princess as it is on DCL.

We are looking at doing a mix of DCL excursions, and tours on our own. Our plans are not set in stone, but I am thinking about doing the following:

Hawaii: Volcano National Park Odyssey and Macadamia Nut Factory (adults only) with DCL and then see if we can to the waterfalls on our own if we have time.

Ohahu: Pearl Harbor VIP Military Base Tour with DCL and then Waikiki on our own.

Maui: Road to Hana on our own. I am disappointed to see the DCL tour is not wheelchair accessible, when through my research, I found a company that will be able to accommodate us. Depending on the time that comes out for the Old Lahaina Luau with DCL, I would like to do this as well. If it does not work out this day, I would look at doing a Luau on our own in Ohahu.

Kauai: 4X4 Adventure on our own. This is something DH is really looking forward to, and the company is able to accommodate him.

What is everyone else thinking of doing? I love hearing about the plans of others!

I wrote down what seems fun in each port and I'll have to narrow my list way down since I haven't found the money tree yet, not to mention I haven't been able to stop the clock so that I can do all these things!

Kauai- The helicopter tour, ziplining and tubing the ditch all sound fun with tubing the ditch being my #1 choice.

Hawaii- The Gourmet Volcano Adventure and the Rainforest Zipline and Water Adventure look fun.

Oahu- The Arizona Memorial and City Tour as well as the Atlantis Submarine Adventure on our my list. I'd also like time to hop on the trolley and explore.

Maui- The Crater by horseback is at the top of my list. I have been on a horse many times but I am in no way a professional which makes me a little nervous. The Atlantis Submarine is on my list for here too.

Things in life have been quite busy so I haven't had a chance to check the boards in quite a while.

Still really excited about the trip and now that the lists for excursions are up, can't wait to look at those.

Didn't really expect the prices for them to be as high as people have been posting but then again, this is probably the only time I will get to go to Hawaii.

If you can drive, no problem at all, it is right off the very good highway. There is also a city bus you can take but it will stop at every bus stop making it a loooong trip.

If there is anyone planning on renting a van- not from Disney and need two more people to share the expense we would be interested especially in Oahu and we would like to do the road to Hanna. In Oahu I think we would get to see more that one or two attractions in one day if we did the van option.

In order to determine the cost of our shirts, all pre-orders must be forwarded to me by 12-10-11. If you have not already done so, please copy the following form and send it to me at:
ValBob89@aol.com.

Currently the count is 96 adult shirts. We need a minimum of 100 to qualify for the lower cost. Please note prices on form are close estimates, prior to maker adding one shipping and handling charge for the order.

It does not appear we will have enough orders (10 of each size needed) to order children size shirts. I am sorry that could not be arranged but I am exploring other ideas.

Would you mind sharing the info on a company in Maui that can accommodate wheelchairs? we are dealing with that issue also.

Just checked and no e-mail, at least not yet. Did you send it to Valbob89@aol.com?

Very strange - I've gotten a lot of others. Haven't gotten anything from Alan either. Yes, checked the spam folder.

Maybe send me a PM with the info just to be sure. Sorry for the problem.

Hello All,

I am seriously considering booking this cruise. I have a freshman in high school and I am just hoping she can home school for 2 weeks.

I am looking in to prices and it looks like as of yesterday, the category 10 rooms ar coming and going. I called Dreams Unlimited and if I book with them, I get a $325 credit. Costco will give a $665 gift card.

Are there any other deals I should know about? I live in the LA area so I won't need flights:)

I have sailed Dis Western Caribean 2007 and EBTA 2010. Hello to those who were with me last year!!!!:goodvibes

 HI !! We did the EBTA in 2010 also ! :)
