Has anyone noticed that the prices are different between the services offered when you look specifically at the spa offerings and when you try to schedule an appointment? In particular, the manicure and pedicure. If you look under the spa for a pedicure it is $45. When you schedule it as an activity, the price is $70. The manicure is $25 under the spa services and $44 when you try to schedule it. Something must be wrong somewhere. :scared1:

We had a RSP for this cruise? I missed it entirely. Can someone send me the link so I can at least look at what was offered? i really wanted a pin and an ornament. Oh well, maybe there will be some stuff left.

thanks.

The bus transfer they have set up is returning at 9pm I think. I have to figure out how long it will take to get from the Luau to the rental location, then add in some time to get back to the ship. I try to get back about 30 minutes before all aboard, so that means 10pm, if the rental place takes about 15 minutes, then I just need the time from the Luau to the rental place - most likely around the same time of 9 to 915pm.

Just to clarify on the luau stuff...

Padalyn - you are signed up for the Alternate Luau that I'm organizing at the Feast at Lele.

The luau is scheduled from 6pm-9pm with our departure from Lahaina estimated at 9:15pm (giving people 15 minutes to get themselves onto the bus and the bus to get rolling)

It is a 45 minute trip back to the ship, so we should arrive by 10pm giving us a 30 minute cushion for "what-ifs."

If you want to drive your rental car to the Alternate Luau instead of taking the motorcoach, you certainly can. BUT, I would say you need to leave the luau before it is over to ensure that you can get gas, get to the airport and get back to the ship in time.

Chip&Dale&Fun - I don't see you signed up on the Alternate Luau at Feast at Lele. Did you use a different DISName? Or, are you signed up for the luau at Old Lahaina Luau through DCL? If you are on that luau, it has a meet time on the ship at 4:15 because it starts at 5:45 and ends at 8:45 with an expected return time at the ship of 9:45. It too is in Lahaina, but they take more time to get people moved from place to place.

I hope this helps clarify the timing for all those trying to plan.

Thanks
Stephanie

Not havibg a very organized day today, so sorry. Thabk you for all the info. we siged up for the Luau with the cruise ship, not yours. I was torn between the two.

OK, it's after 5pm EST which means the cutoff for pre-ordering lanyards (and having them guaranteed) is past. The list currently contains 323 people. So I placed the order for 375 lanyards total (which is more than I have ever ordered for a cruise I've done this for----Jason's gonna be very sore since they all go in his carry-on! :lmao:). That will give me 50 extra lanyards for any latecomers or last minute bookers----and if nobody claims them then it will give me 2 or 3 extras per lanyard team member which is always a nice gift they can give their servers or favorite CMs. I know some lanyard organizers order tons of extras....but I really don't want to be responsible for carrying them all and I don't want any to go to waste, really (especially because the lanyards we're getting are more special than any I've ever done before...and, therefore, more expensive!

Also note: 4 of the names on my list still are KrisannB's family because she has not responded to any of my emails to confirm she has cancelled this cruise and hasn't told me to remove their names...so I'm not sure what to do...can someone who communicates with her on facebook please ask her to confirm with me that they are 100% off this trip because I don't want to remove them and then they show up and are mad they don't have lanyards for some reason.

Hi Erik, I left KrisannB a FB message. Hopefully, you will hear from her soon. If I can do anything to help any further, I would be happy to....just let me know.

A brief update on our Champagne Girls

I'll start putting my list together by March 1st. I'll contact DCL by April 1st and they will get back to me by April 15th. So far it looks like we have roughly 75 ladies wanting to attend. I think that's fabulous!!!

Also, I received the flowers for our hair and the clips that go with them. I just have to glue the clips to the flowers. They are not as nice as the original flowers that I wanted to get, but they are the right color. The ones that I initially wanted were not available. So this was the next best choice. We'll look fine with our flowers and our leis in
pink. Our group picture will be very pink and lovely.

Here's a pic of our flowers:

When you pre order the cruise specific merchandise, do you pay for it up front, or do they charge it to your stateroom account? :confused3

I bought some hats today, and had to charge them to my card... They had to be paid for in advance.

We had a RSP for this cruise? I missed it entirely. Can someone send me the link so I can at least look at what was offered? i really wanted a pin and an ornament. Oh well, maybe there will be some stuff left.

Thanks.

I think the RSP was for the Fantasy maiden voyage ... not our cruise?

The RSP closed on Feb 14...sorry.

here are some larger pictures of the merchandise I was sent a link to...no images of the womens shirts though :(

The rsp is for the Fantasy right .. Was there one for the Hawaiian???

Aren't those cute? I ordered some for me and DD for our cruise. And right now, the Disney store is having a 25% off sale with the code "Happy25".

When I get them in, I'll take a picture of those with the shirt fabric. I bet they'll go cute together!

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and are excited to be another day closer to the cruise.

I swear, we've been planning this cruise for over a year and I'm just as excited now, as I was when we first booked the cruise. :cheer2:

And I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!

They look great. I really need to do something about a pink Hawaii dress for the occasion.

I am spending a happy day working on Fish Extender gifts today. I have badly misjudged the supplies that I need this time round so it is being done in stages, but that is OK. I completely finished 15 of the girl's gifts and have to add one more component to 60 when this arrives hopefully on Monday. Later I will do as many as the boy's gifts as I have materials for. I might also be able to start on the gifts for the ladies.

I am also hoping to work on my magnets over the weekend.

Good Morning, Happy Cruisers!

I'm finally getting busy on this cruise. have a list of ideas for Maui & kawaii - anyone ever rent a car in either of those? we don't do tours very well and have already signed up for one on Hawaii.

Yes, I think 6 hours is plenty of time and even would allow you a break for some lunch. Unless you want to partake of all of the "specialty tours" you should be able to see everything in that time.

I would highly recommend the double decker bus tour (sit on the top on the left side) as it gives you some narration and allows you to figure out what you want to go back and see. You can skip the kids section if it is just you and your mom, but DON'T miss the Elephant Oddessy - it's amazing!

Enjoy
Steph

Thanks so much Steph.....I think I'm going to surprise my Mom with this....now to figure out what day to go.

Is the RSP only for Platinums?

good Morning All...wish me luck, I may try to cut the fabric.

I have never been a champagne girl before and I am looking forward to the event and meeting everyone. I completely forgot to put something pink onnthebpacking list....

RSP .. I think we have pretty well figured out that this was for the Fantasy.
It is open to all cruisers. Platinums may get a discount, I am not sure.

Fish Extender Crafters ...good luck today.....

the EAR hats are just tooo cute. thanks for posting the link and sharing...

Gee a sale atbthe Dsiney store, I shouldn,t.....but I will go look.

I am not a seamstress....HELP.

I can either match the border at the bottom of the skirt, or have a full pattern on the front. Having a full pattern on the front looks nice but the hem will look terrible compared to the back.....

Anyone out there to help?

Me too - I keep looking but haven't found anything yet. Hoping when spring gets a bit closer it gets easier.

Good Morning, Happy Cruisers!

I'm finally getting busy on this cruise. have a list of ideas for Maui & kawaii - anyone ever rent a car in either of those? we don't do tours very well and have already signed up for one on Hawaii.

at the recommendation of someone earlier on this thread I checked at kayak.com and got great prices for my car rentals thru budget...

I am putting in a Vista Print order with the designs I am using coming from my Flicker page http://www.flickr.com/photos/rmvandy/sets/72157628762808959/, which anyone is welcome to access and download from.

A couple of you have said you were having trouble downloading to Vista. If you want me to order them for you and bring them with me to the ship for you or mail them to you before, I'll be happy to. I am ordering t-shirts and their cost is $7.23 each. I plan to wear them with the Hawaii shirts as a over blouse.

I'll hold off putting in the order in case anyone wants to me to order something for you. Send me an e-mail if you do. Valbob89@aol.com
