I was thinking this would be the best time to go around that time (where the crowds would be at the low...)

Or would April 21-April 30th be better?

Just trying to give my g/f the best experience so when I propose to her, it will have been after the LEAST pushing and shoving :)

I would think 4/28-5/7 would be better since it's further from Easter. That's the same week we're going. Good luck with your GF! I always tell DH how he saved so much money, since I wasn't a Disney Nut til after we got married. Otherwise I would have wanted a proposal at WDW, wedding there, honeymoon there.

haha, my DGf and I are both big Disney nuts, so when it comes to the monetary aspect, we're going to be so screwed ;) I'm thinking 4/28 - 5/7 as well...if anyone opposes, just go for it.. otherwise, Monday, I'm making the decision (it'll also be part of her holiday gift!)

We will be there the same time also. Celebrating our 32nd anniversary and DD's 26th birthday. Do you want an audience for "The Proposal". We could set up something along the lines of the diamond commercial where the guy asks his wife to marry him again and everyone sitting on the steps {Spanish steps in Rome maybe] stand up and applaud when she says yes.

We're going April 30 - May 7.....DVC owners and that's "value" time.....less expensive, and less guests to deal with....Congratulations! Any idea of where you are going to pop the question???

We went this week (the first of May) last year.

Huge thumbs-up!

Even with the Kick-off of the Happiest celebration... What crowds??? LOL!!!

Wouldn't that be cool!

:) That's such a cute idea! I'm still thinking of where though... I have a few ideas, but I'm waiting for the right one to hit me in the head. I'm going to try to run those dates by my supervisor today though.

Thanks for all your help guys!

We must have all chosen a very romantic time to be in the World. DH and I are going to be there April 29 - May 13 to celebrate our tenth anniversary and DH's 41st birthday. We'll also be at the Poly for awhile and then are moving to the Wilderness Lodge where we had our honeymoon ten years ago.

I can't wait!

This is going to be the most romantic bunch there!
We are going 4/30-5/7 for our honeymoon.

I would be willing to be an audience if that is something you want to do.
Ahhhhh....love, isn't it great?!

How romantic! We were at WDW the last week of April this year and it was very crowded compared to when we usually go at the begining of May. There were two states on Spring Break(NY and NJ) and there was also a grad night on the weekend. Some days there was an hour wait for rides like Peter Pan and we never got to ride Kilomanjaro at AK because the wait was 90mins and the FP were gone. Our family has a huge thumbs up for begining of May! BTW there is a beautiful proposal spot on the beach at the Poly. It is a grassy place that overlooks the lagoon and we have seen many wedding ceremonies there. I am sure Tikiman/Steve has pics of it on his site. This spot reminds me very much of Hawaii. :cloud9:
