Last night DH was looking through the Passporter and remarks, "have to get to the ship early, there is so much to do before we set sail."

Love how planning for a trip makes the vacation longer.

I just wanted to post something to read in my ticker that we only have 5 DAYS LEFT!!!

We have our FE and gifts ready to go! We had to get a new piece of luggage since in our last trip the zipper of one of our bags was broken by the bag guys at the airport of Miami to steal our camcorder and we started packing.
It seems that the weather will be nice.

Well - it has been 1 year since I started planning this cruise. Now only a few more days until it becomes a reality. I have loved all the tips on suggested items to bring and I think I went overboard by getting everything suggested. I can only hope that I can fit it all in my luggage.

Everyone pray we can dock at CC. Recent trip reports have said the ocean current was rough ands the winds prevented multiple attempts to dock at CC. I am hoping that things change for us. I am looking forward CC. We leave Friday am and r counting down, although the kids think we r leaving Saturday. Can't wait to surprise them.

I am praying also. My CM DS and DGS Andrew have never been. Hopefully all will go well and we will have an easy time docking. We leave Friday night, arriving in orlando at midnight. See you Sunday.

We leave at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!! (I'm worse than a kid at Christmas) I'm sure I won't get any sleep tonight. If I do fall asleep I will probably wake up every hour and look at the clock just to see if it is time to get up yet. See everyone on Sunday.

I think I might be the last to leave, we're leaving Sunday morning for our 6:40AM flight. I definitely will not be sleeping on Saturday, I'll probably be doing the last minute packing and trying to stay up so we don't oversleep.

We are leaving Friday at 2:25pm!!! WE CANNOT WAIT!! We will spend 2 days at WDW and then off to the ship!! We are soooo excited! We have not been to WDW in 11 years and this is the first trip for our 5yo. She has nothing to really compare it to except the county fair! Boy will she be surprised! Can't wait to see you guys!!

We are also leaving tomorrow morning and driving to Fl. After the cruise we will be going to WDW for 6 days, we will be celebrating our 46th anniversary. Ordered a basket from Perfect Gift for DH to be on the ship when we arrive. He will surely be suprised.
I love the door signs...I am just not too talented to make one up. And the gift idea sounds like great fun.
Can't wait to meet all of you cruisers. Shirley

night light
power strip
extension cord
blow dryer
highlighter for your navigator

Are there not blow dryers on the ship in the bathroom??? I assumed it would be like a regular hotel with the built in on the wall hair dryer--am I wrong??

Help, quick! I'm packing tonight and we leave Friday afternoon!

Yes there is a hair dryer, like the ones in the resort....they'll blow you away

BTW, my FE did not come in the mail I guess I just have to find something from the parks to hang there.

Great sign! I found some magnet board at Walmart in the photo section. I just had to peel off the backing and affixed my door signs. It came in 8 1/2 x 11 size and then you can cut as needed. If you can't find what you are looking for at Michaels - check Walmart.

Where did you get the disney people images? They are adorable!

They are cute, I love them. A fine gentleman named TOM (ImTooExcitedToSleep) on another thread sent them to me and I just Photoshop'ed the colors. He will use specific colors per your request, I told him what colors, which family member I wanted and he did them very quickly. They do have hair dryers but I've read here many times that they are not very good and it takes forever to dry your hair, people often suggest to bring your own. I have long thick hair, I'll make sure I bring my dryer... It's optional.

I know the hairdryers don't have that much power, but I have found they work enough for me not to lug mine from home. Depends how necessary a hairdryer is for your style, I supose. (or how big your home hairdryer is - mine is easily the size of two pairs of shoes)

We never use the hair dryer, but a lot of people bring their own from home with a power strip (so they can also plug in their other devices to charge) and blow dry their hair by the vanity so they have more room to move around or watch TV, etc.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the fun fish extender exchange--- I can't believe all the fun stuff we got!!!
My kids just loved coming back to the room to check their "mailbox"
