on three of our computers we use McAfee our newest computer uses symantic as it is vista and we could not get our McAfee to load on it. We watch the Wonder leave port every Sunday on the two palms web cam. we hope to get our passport applications mailed in by September 1st.

this morning, we woke up to rain....it hardly ever rains here in the summer, so it was a surprise. It wasn't full blown rain, more like a steady drizzle. It stayed humid for the rest of the day. We are not used the humidity, so I just cranked the AC all day and stayed inside! THEN...I was sitting here at 9:15pm and poof...the power went out. Yikes! My neighbors and I had a small party outside since that's where everyone ended up being! It came back on about 10:30pm.

Good morning everyone - happy Tuesday!

Mike - you should be fine applying for your passports on Sept. 1st but if I were you I would do it now. There is a woman on our Member Cruise thread who has been waiting 16 weeks now!

And someone on a Med cruise who did it about 4 months early and ended up having to cancel her cruise! yikes! Why wait? Just get it over with!

Karen - I meant to ask. What did KT think of the scrapbook area in the playroom?

She LOVED it!!!! And she's done a page since she's been home. Which is great b/c she hasn't done a single page in about 9 months (b/c there wasn't anywhere to drag all of her stuff out and be able to leave it out for awhile)

She even liked her room all decluttered and organized and rearranged to give her more floor space.

And, amazingly, she's been keeping both clean!

Ok, funny story. My parents were here this weekend and Sunday night we went out to our favorite steak place. At the end, we were sitting in the lobby area waiting for Mike and Nick to go to the bathroom and the manager struck up a conversation with us.....

During it, he asked "are you guys from around here?"

My mom said "we're not, but they are" Pointing at us....

So the manager asks where we're from and I say "not too far away. We live in London."

Then as we were leaving he thanked us for coming, looked at me and said "enjoy the rest of your vacation in America."

:lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Oh....and for MY answers.....you can go here:

Thanks, Mary for suggesting this. What a great way to get to know your fellow cruisers! I remember how fun it was on the DVC member cruise thread to do this every week or so!

U TOP! Shared with Mary!

Woo-hoo.....Just realized....one month from TODAY we'll be heading up to Chicago!!!!!

So a funny story I just have to share with you all. Karen had posted on her blog a couple of weeks ago about these yummy spa products called Klean bath and body. I tried them this morning for the first time. Used the brown sugar body scrub in the shower and then lathered up after with very vanilla shea butter. My skin is so soft and smooth! So I go into a meeting this morning and the first person in the room after me says "hmmm smells like someone is baking cookies". :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

haha! One Christmas I used the Sugarcookies (or is it shortbread?) bodywash and lotion from Bath & Body Works. It was one of their Christmas scents. Everywhere I went people would comment on how it smells like "someone is baking cookies". :rotfl:

Ok, I'm trying to figure out if that's a good thing or a bad thing! ;)

Hey, at least you didn't get "rotting carcass" body scrub and "egg salad gone bad" shea butter! HA!

You got shea butter? I didn't think I ordered you shea butter. Hmmmmm...

It is definately a good thing. Ok maybe it wasn't shea butter. It was vanilla, very creamy and I didn't have my glasses on.

Good morning everyone! Happy Wednesday!

So no one wants to play getting to know you except Karen and I? :confused3 We already know each other. We want to know you!

Karen - btw I looked and it was shea lotion so I was close. :)

Have a great day everyone!

But, Mary, did you know that when I worked at that farm market they wanted me to push their cart around our town's summer festival and yell out "FRITTERS, FRITTERS, I'VE GOT THE FRITTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!" ??

No self-respecting teen wants to be doing that when her friends might hear!!!

Luckily, I had had my appendix out about 2 or 3 weeks before that, so I was able to use the "no heavy lifting" excuse. ;)
