Good morning everyone! Monday morning so back to work for me. Got a new employee starting today as well and today starts my teaching of the new summer associates. We hire some recent college grads each year and put them through a 6 week training course before giving them their assignments.

I really have to start posting on this thread. I know I have been lazy, but I am now in vacation mode. We started filling our vaca tote. The disney outlet by us had t's for 2.99 with 25% off that, and flip flops for 1.00. Plus we had a yard sale this weekend and made 330...so its all onboard credit to us!!!! We were shocked at how good we did. The disney gods must have been smiling down on us for the day. I am off the the Dr now my DD is sick. They think she has Mono. She has had a very high fever for about a week and they still can't find out what is wrong with her. We have to go to the lab for bloodwork which I know will not go over well. She has been crying about it all morning. Wish us luck

Great to see more family's posting and increased activity. Of course you can say Universal Studios Randy. Christopher and Laura feel free to jump in when ever time allows. On Sunday My mom was in a car accident pretty much totaled her car and lots of bumps cuts and bruises no stitches only butterflies she did get 3 cracked ribs not a bad birthday present for someone that is going to be 80 on July 1st. My brothers and I are planning a family reunion party for saturday all her brothers and sisters and most of there families are attending guess she will really have a story to tell everyone

Randy - of course we can say Universal here. Did you know there is even a Universal forum here on the DIS. Of course we'd rather you stay here and chat with us.

Laura - that is great news on the yard sale and that you are putting the profits towards your cruise!

We have a change jar going sense our June 2006 cruise for our on-board account. Congrats on the new car Kay we are looking at a Jeep Cherokee for our next car but then we do need the 4x4 for the snow we get here we are 90 miles south of Buffalo NY.

well, our little vacation didn't happen Check in time is 4pm, we got there at 5, and I guess the person that booked our condo months ago was new and double booked, and the other guests already checked in. There was nothing else available. Talk about being bummed out. I just about cried! The guy felt really bad, and said that as soon as he gets a cancellation he'll call, and give us 50% off our next stay! I am not going to hold my breath about a cancellation.

I am glad we only live an hour away though and weren't told this after a 5 hour drive. Maybe we'll go to Disneyland this week, even though I hate going during the summer since it's so hot and crowded. But that's the only thing that can make me feel better right now!

Kay - sorry to hear about your vacation to the beach. Just remember that everything happens for a reason and I bet something wonderful happens this week. Maybe a trip to Disneyland is just what you need. I know it would pick up my spirits.

Oh Kay so sorry to hear about the car accident. Well just an update on my DD...we went to the hospital yesterday after a long day of getting pissed at her Dr on the phone and she has pneumonia (sp). That would have been nice to know on fri, sat, sun. When she was really sick. Good thing is she is feeling much better. Guess we are stuck in the house another week. My 1 year old had Chicken Pox last week. So we really need a vacation. Hope everyone has a great day!!!!

Whoa! I missed the car accident thing! Man, you've had quite the week, Kay!!

LCtonra...sorry to hear DD is so sick. But luckily you now know what it is, so now you can start treating it! Well, guess now you don't have to decide whether or not to get the CP vaccine for your baby!

ha ha ha! This is so me!!!! I know Kay just got a new car, and I didn't THINK it was because the other one was wrecked....but then I thought maybe I did miss something!

I did post a page ago that my mom was in a accident on Sunday she is doing better still sore she says it hurts to take a deep breath but then 3 cracked ribs will do that . what damage she did to the car was finished off by the volunteer firefighters who cut to top of her car off to get her out all she is talking about is her Birthday Saturday she is going to take a lot of teasing i found out she had her cruise control on and forgot about hitting the break

Mike sorry to hear about your mom's accident. Hope she gets better soon. I never saw it a page or so ago, so sorry I didn't comment on it then! We saw a pretty bad accident on the freeway yesterday. A little Volkswagen bug was completely smashed in the front, and you know those cars are not very big to begin with. There were several police cars, 2 fire engines, and an ambulance. I think they had to cut whoever was in the bug out because there were an awful lot of firefighters standing around and a stretcher nearby! So scary when you see things like that!
