Last day of Spring and it should be a good one. Going out to lunch with my work group which is always fun. Got about 20 people going.

I'm FREEEEEEE!!!! Today was my last day of work! I won't go back until August 21st!!! yippeeee!!!

First thing I will do is start cleaning my house. Gosh, I have been working so much lately, my house has really suffered. I hate a messy house!

Took DS today for his physical that he needs for camp. Poor guy! He had to have blood drawn and a very unpleasant exam, if you know what I mean He is a very private person, and he almost cried he was so humiliated! And he is NOT a crier! I am glad it's done and over with. He got 2 shots too, but now he is all set for camp!

Good Afternoon Everyone. I'm a bit tired today, probably because I took DW and DS7 to see the Blue Man Group last nite. Afterwards, we walked around Universal a little while before coming home.

I bought tickets a couple of weeks ago to the BMG and got seats in the 'poncho section.' Everyone in the first 4 rows gets a free poncho, but really didn't need it. Maybe a good scare tactic, because Kyler kept waiting for paint to be shot out over the audience.

We kept BMG a secret from Kyler until about 2 hours prior to show-time. Steph was skeptical about the show, based on preconceived notions from somewhere. Me, I went in with an open mind. I've always just been curious to see what it was all about.

All in all the show was excellent. At some acts, Kyler was laughing out loud - deep belly laughs. Watching your 7 year old laugh like that is priceless! Even Steph, who started out watching the show with her arms folded, was caught laughing a few times and smiling a lot. Some skits did drag on a little too long, but overall we enjoyed ourselves.

So now I think the best 2 shows in Orlando are BMG and La Nouba (Cirque du Soleil). They're both a little pricey, but they're both a great experience. After that, I think the Polynesian Luau at WDW is worthwhile, although the show isn't quite as good as it used to be. Also, having good seats is important.

today was the last day of school for the students here. now the real fun starts getting the school ready for the start of school in September. for me that means plumbing and electrical renovations and then painting with mowing lawns in between

Good morning everyone from Brookfield, WI. Mark and I are here attending the Nascar races (trucks last night and Busch cars tonight). It is one of our annual events. Weather was perfect yesterday after a very stormy night before. Hopefully today will be as nice.

Then we head home tomorrow.

Hey all! Been busy as heck trying to get my house clean! We are leaving Monday to spend a week at the beach, and I have this thing about having a spotless house before we go anywhere! Tomorrow is laundry day... I am also trying to get all my pictures downloaded off my camera and resized. Haven't done that in a few weeks and there are quite a few!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I plan on taking a break from cleaning and such tomorrow and taking the kids to the movies. Not sure yet what we'll see. I am thinking Pirates is too long for DD7, plus the last one sort of scared her a bit. She is older now, but we may just wait till it comes out on DVD!

We head home this morning after a fun weekend up in Milwaukee. We had great weather and a fun time.

Kay enjoy your week at the beach. Sounds like fun.

We really liked Pirates but did think it was a bit too long and I do think it might be a bit too intense for little ones.

We just saw Nancy Drew last weekend. That was good. There is the issue of a Hollywood star who secretely had a baby and gave it up for adoption, but otherwise, I think it'd be ok for that age.

And both of my kids want to go see Evan Almighty.

We saw Surfs Up yesterday. Now DS7 wants a surf board. DS4 was a little bored with the movie. It isn't a Monster's Inc or Nemo, but enjoyable.

hey all! We went and saw Shrek 3! Since it's been out for a few weeks, I didn't think the theater would be full, but omg, it was packed!! It was a good movie. I want a baby Shrek now!

Doing laundry and getting the last of my cleaning done. We are not leaving until tomorrow after lunch, so I am sure I'll be around off and on until then!
