Good morning everyone!

Mike - so sorry to hear about the losses your family has faced. Very sad.

Yesterday morning was spent doing taxes and then yesterday afternoon and evening we went over to my in-laws. Didn't get home until after 9 and I was so tired I didn't even turn on the computer. Just watched a little tv and went to sleep.

hey, guess what? A year from today is our final payment due date!! And it's the day I can make ressies for Palo and excursions as a first time cruiser! Of course, all you brats will already have their stuff reserved!

We plan to do Palo brunch for sure we will have to try to link days and times together Eileen also wants to try a few spa treatments too im in for the 12meter regata and we think just the sky ride and shopping in st thomas besides a few things on board beer tasting wine tasting tequila tasting galley tour and got a new Jimmmy Buffett book to read and sun

Hi Everyone...

Just to let you all know, we finally decided to let this cruise go

We decided to take the repo to the Med and the 11 day back to back. We will be spending 25 days on the ship...so we will probably be tired of cruising for a while... (if that's possible!!!)

Since we are Floridians, we can get great last minute rates if we do change our minds.

I hope everyone has a great time. You will love doing the Eastern. We loved the sea days!!!

we are wait listed for the repo only and the CM mentioned it is a long list disney even charges to wait list figure we can just transfer the deposit to this cruise as a pay off when i was in the navy I did a eastern cruise through the panama canal and with the talk of Disney building a new ship figured this may be the last time the Magic goes through the Canal.pay off for this cruise one year from today sounds better and better

Good morning everyone! Snowy day here in Chicagoland. Spent yesterday watching all the Hawaiian shows on the Travel Channel. Really got us in the mood to leave all this snow behind!

Good Monday Morning! I woke up with a scratchy throat today! ugh! Hopefully I can soothe it a bit with my hot coffee! I also have a cough and runny nose coming on... I just can't shake whatever I have. I think it's because I don't take care of myself and wait until I am 100% better before I jump around doing stuff again. But hey, I don't have the luxury of laying around for a week until I feel better. I only wish! It's back to work today.

I had a little retail therapy this weekend. Really works wonders! I went out to Target to buy new pillows for our bed. I need to replace them frequently because it freaks me out to have pillows on my bed for too long. I watch too many shows that feature those bed bugs and other icky critters so I am picky about my bedding! While there, I spied the most beautiful quilted comforter. It's not a heavy bulky one, but a lightweight one and when I looked closer, I saw it was on clearance!! Yay! I picked up a king size one, however, they only had one pillow sham! I was crushed! They also did not have the flanel sheet set that goes with it OR the bedskirt! I could have lived without the bedskirt and sheet set, I could have picked out another brand that went with the colors, but not the pillow sham! So I went to customer service and inquired about other stores in the area and one about 30 min. away had 4 of them! I dropped Kaylee off at a birthday party and headed out there and not only got my sham, but also the sheet set AND the bedskirt. I was in heaven! It was all on clearance. I paid just over $300, when the whole thing would have cost me over $500 regular price! What a steal! I slept like a baby last night!

how cool! Would have loved to do the Panama cruise but I just can't justify taking the kids out for 2 weeks! They have testing during the May repo and August wouldn't have been 2 full weeks since we go back to school the last week of August, however, I work in an elementary school office and we go back a week or two before students come back and it's our busiest time of year with enrollments and such and there is NO WAY IN HELL I could take it off. They don't like us taking vacation when school is in session anyway, but I am lucky to have a really cool principal that will let me take off a week in April for this cruise!

they will...give it time. It's still 14 months away! As far as I can tell, there are a lot of people that cruise around the same time each year, so I bet after April, we'll see more people here as they rebook for the next year onboard!

Good morning everyone! Nasty weather coming through the area today. I'm also feeling under the weather so i'm staying home today. Yuck!

morning all! STILL feeling icky! I really will stay home this whole weekend, not to mention rest up while the kids are in school Thursday and Friday! I need to shake this thing! One good thing about it is that I don't have much of an appetite, which is good for my diet! I went out to Sushi last night with a friend and only ate a little bit. I usually pig out on it!

Nice clear day here. I have to drop my Goldens off at the groomers this morning before work! That'll be fun! My female LOVES the groomer, my male however freaks out when we pull into the parking lot and it takes a lot for me to get him into the building! And I can't carry him anymore either, he's a horse! He hates their blow dryers esp. on his head. I always tell them, don't worry about blow drying his head, but they still call me about it everytime anyway!

Hey there. Just been busy here. Lots of school work getting done. Rehearsals 3-4 nights a week. My brother and sister-in-law came down this weekend so I wasn't on the DIS much at all. Lurked, but didn't post. Then we've had a couple of "crisis" situations. Like KT realizing she had NO idea where her gameboy case was with a buncho of DS games. So that meant we searched the house up and down and up and down again. Then called grandma and she searched her house. Then I started calling EVERY SINGLE PLACE we've been in the last month to see if someone turned it in. Luckily, when I called Toyota, they had it there. She took it in with her when I had my oil changed on JANUARY 15th!!!! We drove in to pick it up last night and the woman who had it said, "I have an 8 yr old son, so I knew exactly what this was and I knew sooner or later someone would come looking for it!" We took her in some homemade peanut butter cookies as a thank you.

Now we're just dealing with snow snow snow. Probably have about 5 or 6 inches out there now. And now the freezing rain is starting. I was going to snowblow the drive, but I figured I'd wait until the freezing rain was done. I'd rather have the ice on top of the snow instead of directly on the driveway.

Mike emailed me about 11:00. He had seen exactly TWO patients this morning at that point. Almost not worth all the docs going in!! Well, they also decided to close down the office today at noon and not open until THURSDAY MORNING. That is just NUTS. They never ever close!!! I remember a few years ago, there was bad weather and Mike called the main doc and asked if the office was going to be open....the doc's response was "we haven't closed for weather in 30 yrs!!!" Now they are off 1 1/2 days. No wonder that doc (according to Mike) spewed out "you're all a bunch of chicken sh$#!"

Ok, off to make some lunch. Something warm and toasty I think. Good news is, Nick and KT's rehearsals are canceled today! Mike is supposed to drop off the Highlander so it can get a hitch tomorrow, but I hardly think a hitch is worth risking his life. Will have to reschedule that.
