Hi,

I am officially booked on the April 26th cruise...

I got a guaranteed Cat 12 for $3,759

Since we are a family of 4 we should at least get a Cat 11...

So excited...

A little nervous about getting the worse room on the ship though....

Hi Heather! You are officially a green thong cruiser! Scared yet? I would have gone for a cheaper cat. 12 but I am borderline claustrophobic, and I am not sure how I would do in an inside cabin, so I booked a cat. 9. Maybe I would have been ok but I am not going to take the chance!

Hey, even the worst cabin onboard the Magic would be better than NO cabin, right? I always travel with one of those sound spas that makes white noise (ocean, rainforest, and a few more). It works like a charm in noisy hotel rooms, plus it drowns out my DH's snoring!

Thanks for the info. Everybody has probably realized that I'm not to with technology these days. At our house it is best left to the teenager to put phone #'s in my phone, work the navigation in my car, handle computer problems, cook, etc......

I am currently running a virus scan. I know I have virus protection from Time Warner, but it is probably not good enough.

How do I run a scan for spyware (do you scan for spyware)?

I use Windows Defender. It's a Microsoft product. Here's a link: http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx And it's free!

Been busy these last couple of days. We actually have a few days that the kids DON'T have a rehearsal and since it's cold and yucky here we've been holing up trying to make a dent in the schoolwork!

Plus, I'm not officially writing dh's blog. After begging me to do it for awhile I tackled one today. Don't know how it'll go. He can write things and take criticism for them and he just goes on writing. I'll probably run away and hide and never write again if anyone says mean things to me. (don't mind if they say mean things to me in a joking way---even if they DO mean it---it's when they say mean things that come out sounding mean that I don't like)

Well, hey, I was just topped. I was reading the email newsletter from the Manic Mommies (they have a podcast I listen to) and there is infomation in there about this seat that goes by the side of the tub so that moms are comfy while bathing their children...for background information, the Manic Mommies are Erin (who has a dh named Mike) and Kristin (who has a dh named Steve) In the newsletter it says "Even Steve's husband, who was skeptical about the purchase, soon admitted it was one of the smartest things they had ever bought."

So, since I KNOW the Manic Mommies, I had to email and giggle at that. I asked what Kristin thought of the arrangement.

Yup, my mom emailed me with the news. Honestly it's AMAZING he's lived this long with the injury he had!!
I'd love to know what his final vet bill turned out to be!!
