:rotfl: he's home now and on his "death bed"

mom's don't get death beds. :) it's so unfair. at least now, that my kids are older, i can nap off a migraine and they can fend for themselves. kt will even get lunch for herself and nick (nothing that needs cooking) and they will entertain themselves---quietly---until i can function again. :)

Hi,

I need to add to my frantic state - my dd13 backed up the kitchen sink by putting potato peelings down the drain. The dishwasher is on and is backing up into the sink and I need to leave in 35 minutes.

Jen

oh no! Potato peels are a pain!

and we're all really worried that getting another kitty will change his personality for the worse. today Mowana got lots of extra loving and was very sweet. I contacted the shelter about taking our hold of. Even ds who has a very very tender heart for animals (and cat allergies!) is completely fine with it. I thought there would be tears, but he's been very open about how he doesn't want to "ruin" Mowana. :)

(sigh)

awww...I think you are making a good choice. That's the main reason I am hestitant about keeping Smokey (the kitty that showed up at our doorstep). Our current cat has been doing so well being an only cat! I only wish my DD would be as understanding as your DS! :guilty:

maybe the wine. We are not big drinkers. DH will have an occassional beer, and I am more into the colorful drinks that come with a little umbrella ;) Do they have margaritas at the tequila tasting?

yes at the Tequila tasting they do have Margaritas if i remember right you get around 3 shots and 2 Margaritas all smaller sizes and all different flavors. and of course during the sail away party the colorful drinks with umbrellas are offered for a price but heck we are on a cruise in the Caribbean

ok, off for now. not sure if i'll cross stitch or dh and i will watch the grey's anatomy from last Thursday that we haven't watched yet. :confused3

yeah!! NOW we're talkin'! I do drink the occassional wine with dinner, but don't know enough about wine to want to go to a wine tasting. And well beer....BLECH!

that is why we went to the wine tasting to learn more about wine and the different regions the wine stewards put it on we think there were like 4 different wines plus a dessert wine funniest thing happened when the wine steward was going to saber the opening of a bottle of champagne Rachele the cruise director was walking through the piano bar at the same time and the sabered the top of the bottle flew and bounced and almost hit her she had to jump out of the way.

sense we seem to have cat lovers here I should mention Eileen and the boys have 3 Oreo Matty and Wonder . also Eileen likes soaps Y&R and B&B. Mike

Good morning everyone! Got Mike's info via e-mail and will be updating the page either tonight or tomorrow.

U-TOP

good morning all! Can't stick around this morning, I am going into work after I drop off the kids at school, instead of 10am! Working for a co-worker today! More $$! Yay! :cool1: Maybe I'll peek in at work if I have time!

Good morning,

My husband came home and dealt with the clogged sink! Lets just say he wasn't in a good mood when I got home.

Kay - Last time I went on the cruise we had the main seating and we really liked it. We went to Florida on Thursday to get used to the time change and by Saturday I would say we were pretty well adjusted.

I am trying to plan our Alaskan cruise this July - but I don't get as much info on cruise critic as I get here. I would say that on disboards it seems that people write with a smile :goodvibes and over there :confused3 they are not as happy to help.

The cruise is just going to be me and the girls. My husband is going to Italy in June so he can't take the time off and go to Alaksa in July.

we're thinking about taking a redeye out on Thursday night, arriving in Florida early Friday morning. We are hoping to check into the hotel in the am, so we have the day to just relax, hang out by the pool and maybe nap (yeah right!). Hopefully by Saturday we have somewhat adjusted to the time!

Where are you all staying the night before the cruise? I am thinking about the Radisson in Port Canaveral. The pool looks pretty nice!

Hi,

We stayed at Ron Jon's for 2 nights. We had to do the 90 minute "tour" to get a good rate. We had an incredible room. However, I would never stay there again as their beds were so hard that I didn't get a good nights sleep.

In 2008 we'll either stay at WDW or in PC there is a new (March 2006 it opened) hotel. I don't remember what it is - I want to say Comfort Suites.

If we stay at WDW I'll be looking for advice as we haven't been there since 1990.

Jen

we will be staying at WDW befor and after the cruises we are not sure yet if we will fly in on the Thursday or Friday befor but we will definatly be staying at Port Orleans French Quarter we are unsure about after as we will probably fly home eather Sunday or Monday.. Mike
