I wonder if we'll have an influx when they release dates on September 5th?
My DS starts kindergarten today, so pray for me cause he's up already.
Question for y'all:
Are any of you taking kids on their first trip to Disney World via this cruise?
We are and I'm a bit overwhelmed thinking and planning a first trip with a one day time limit. DH says just to focus and stay at MK. But his favorite park is EPCoT (and we haven't been in 9 years).

Gotta love when they're excited for Kindergarten!!! Bet he'll do great!
And don't get too overwhelmed (I know, it's easier said than done), and don't try to overplan, it just makes expectations harder, I think.
Our first trip with our little two, we went to MK, Epcot, and then MGM. We didn't park hop. Knowing this is your sons first trip, and to keep that 'Magic', I think I'd do MK too. Just standing at the entrance, is so magical. And there's so much to see, characters to meet, and rides to ride. And luckily, the time of year we're going, the crowds should be really managable. Late April is a great time to go, crowds are lower and temps nice.
Depending on his size, there's just so many things he can do. Did you mention CRT for lunch? If he's a picky eater, I'd bypass this one, and maybe do a character lunch at Crystal Palace. My 9 dd did not like the food (we weren't greatly impressed either) and Cinderella came by for less than a minute. I've heard the breakfast is good, but lunch was all we could get. We've done it once, and don't have a desire to do it again. You could also do Chef Mickeys (the buffet is not the absolute BEST food in the world), but the kids, the ambience, the par-tay are soo much fun, especially for newbies! We've done CMickey's as our tradition for almost 10 years, and have the picture each year in front of the 'giant plate with Mickey' scene. It's great fun!
If you need any helps, let us know. We'd love to help!
