APRIL 25,2012 5 night THE MAGIC KEY WEST CRUISE

I think you are on the rich side of the tracks seeing all the up coming cruises that you are planning.

No DEAR........by no means are we rich. Just use your money wisely. when you guys are on this cruise, and you and Dh decide you like cruising, book your next cruise or book a "dummy" cruise for some time in the future, while on board, [1] You will get a 10% off the cruise fare price. [2] You get a discount, not the full amount of deposit for that cruise. [3] You will get a on board credit [100.00 to 300.00 maybe more], depending what C C member you are , silver, gold or platinum and the days cruising.[4] You will get a friend or family perk cert. that they can recieve the same on board credit that you will get as long as the cruise is on your cruise date.. So you can save a little money that way. And now to the personal stuff. Get your self a DISNEY REWARDS chase credit card. Any time you book Disney vacations or Disney cruises the perk is 6 months same as cash.....NO INTEREST. And pay the thing off with in that time frame so you don't pay any interest. That helps us a lot on cruisin'. Also you get reward bucks for using that card, and that can going toward your cruise,or buying anything DISNEY :thumbsup2

Thanks for the inside info. I plan on booking on board for Feb 2013 Dream. If the new dates are out for the wonder I would like to go to Alaska. I did not know that they gave you a friends and family discount. If you book three staterooms do you get 10% off and OBC for all three? How do you like Key West? Thanks for all the great info. :yay::yay::yay::yay:

 Don't we get enough snow and cold here in Indiana, and you want to go off to Alaska to see more.
And yes you would get the perks for all the staterooms as long as they have their own confirmation / ressie number , and they are booked while on board cruising.
WOW!.....I just read some of the "fine print" on the friends & family certificate OBC discount, it reads:..... New reservation must be made WITHIN 30 days of issue date of F&F certificate. And this one was issued to us on our cruise back in Sept 2009. Sorry , I was going to ask you if you wanted/needed one. I think the OBC for us is $ 150.00 on this cruise being a gold CC member.
Yes , Kathy and I love Key West, I know I would never drive down there. This will be our 3rd time going back. We where there on the Magic western cruise in 06 & 09. I am really sorry DCL will not be going there after, I want to say after May 18 th. :sad1: :sad2:

If you have your cabin #, please post them here or PM me if you don't feel comfortable posting it here. I'm making a list of all our Cruise Meet buddies so that we can get to know each other better. I also would like to have everyone's first name if that's ok.

Thanks!

You don't like snow? I hope we do not get a big snow again. All I Know is that in April I will be having a great time in Key West. I love when I get off the airplane and I feel the Flordia heat when it is still cold at home. Anyone else love that?:cool1::cool1::cool1::

I was wondering if deck 5 or 6 both aft on the Magic which would you pick? I read that deck 5 was okay but a higher deck was better? I am still messing around with what room I want.

What CAT do you want to pick from? Inside or a stateroom with a varandah? Or a Navergator solid white wall verandah? :confused3

Kathy and Don , The Hoosier Daddy. In stateroom # 6634.

11B inside thanks.

I would say, either deck would be ok. On deck 5 you would be on the same floor as Buena Vista Theatre, and there is no noise issue before you ask.
And which would we pick...........deck 5.
On our past 8 cruises we have picked deck 5 -forward 5 times, deck 2 midship, 3 times and on decks 6 and 7 aft[ both free up grades from deck 5] only one time each.
And as for a stateroom pick we always like the split bathroom [cat 10 or above] type of stateroom.
PS.....this will be the first time we have bought a stateroom with a varandah. We always bought in the past ,window staterooms.

Allison:
We are: Brittany, (dh) MJ, (dd) Mackenzie, (dss) Devin and Tyler and we are staying in stateroom 8548. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Hi everyone, when do we find out our restaurant rotation. We will eat at three different places? Twice at two? What days do they offer the brunch? From what I was reading it seemed like it was only on sea days?:confused3

I'm curious about this as well. Also - did you find out your cabin # yet?

Ladies , the restaurant rotation is posted on your KTTW card. You will be getting it at check-in at the term. Also ,when getting to your room there will be a ticket there on the desk area with the table number you will be dinning at and at which time, either first or second seating . Take that ticket with you, it helps the server out where to seat your party in the restaurant.
We have always had second seating...815pm. About what time is first seating? I don't even know.
PS , all I know its 15 great meals this cruise. :lmao:.....And a two scoop ice cream cone that someone is suppose to bring me.....hint....hint...

:thumbsup2 FYI ....top of this page , the red strip where it says "dinning" click on there to get more info. :thumbsup2
