I am on a DISign break right now. I have separate threads for my DISign work. This is a thread for the cruise I'm going on in April. Please post requests on one of my DISign threads.

A BIG WELCOME GOES out to THE TEBI73 BUNCH. You Guys will love this Cruise. This will be our 9th since may of 2004............in other words we are "hooked" .

Welcome Cruiselady! We are celebrating our 14th anniversary in November as well! Hope everything works out for you to be able to cruise with us!

wow still only a few of us lurking about - We will be traveling with one little boy whos birthday is April 20th - any idea if and how to get him a cake in the dining room?

I see we are still on page six. Are most of you going to stay at the airport? What time does the Disney bus arrive at the port? What time should I pick when I do my online check in?

We're driving down from North Carolina. We're going down a few days early & take DS to Cape Canaveral & Cocoa Beach, so we are probably just going to either stay in Cocoa Beach or somewhere @ the Port.

I would like to come down a couple days before crusing but not this time. I would like to stay by the port the night before. I will not be able to book that untill vacation days are confirmed.

WELCOME cruiselady!!!! Sorry I have been off the boards for awhile. School is hectic this year. So glad to hear that you will be joining us!!!

We are going to be at Universal Studios for 3 days before the cruise. We are taking my ds to WWOHP for his birthday! I remember reading that the bus usually arrives at port at 1:30-2:00. I think (if I remember correctly) since the bus gets there later it doesn't matter what time you have for check in because you just check in with all of the other bus riders.

We will be traveling with one little boy whos birthday is April 20th - any idea if and how to get him a cake in the dining room?

We will also be celebrating our twins birthday which is on April 24th on board. I believe if you talk to your headserver or waiters that they will bring a special dessert out for him.

We need to get this thread hopping a little more!!! Our cruise is almost here!!!

Does anyone have suggestions on what to do in Key West? Is there a decent beach there? We have a 2 yr. old. Should we bring her or arrange childcare? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks!!!

Allison [ TEBI73] have you picked where we are going to meet and greet on boarding day yet? On past cruises that we have done on the WONDER or MAGIC, we would have are Meet & greet at 3 pm at the Promenade Lounge on deck 3 port side mid-ship. They have a lot of chairs and small tables there.The bar would be open , but no body would be in there.
For all of you doing FE and may be you have an up grade in your state room, that would be a great time to let everyone know of the change. And to its a great time to see all the people that we have talked on these boards the past year with.
We can't wait to see CRUISE LADY and her family, she says she lives just 5 minutes from us here in nw Indiana. If we live on the poor side of the tracks, that means she lives on the rich side, its nice to have cruise friends like that.

First time cruiser ALLISON, and all.
REMEMBER: there is a lunch buffet up on deck 9 aft @ TOPSIDE Buffet ,[ a tray type] with out/in side tables ,and also a buffet lunch [take your plate type] on deck 3 aft @ the Parrot Cay restaurant. I think they are both open 11:30am till 2:30pm, . Ps.... I always count them[the meals]down to my Dw, this is the "first of 15" meals on our cruise. And how many can you make?........The Hoosier Daddy wants no SEA SICK PEOPLE on our cruise. just kiddin'...everyone will be fine.

Hey - Malachi (age 10) goes thru a growth spurt about every 2 months where he can never get full! So he is totally with you on the food! He's is so excited that he gets to be a "Disney Adult"! He can't wait to try one of everything!

I never thought about the cruise in terms of meals. How many pounds does fifteen meals equal. I hope I can find the meet place on deck 3. Nineteen days before the boss approves the vacation. Can't wait to officaly be going on this cruise. It seems like it will be a blast.

I think you are on the rich side of the tracks seeing all the up coming cruises that you are planning.

I don't know about a 5 day cruise, but,.......parden that wording a 4 day cruise [ 12 meals] , I would bring home 5 extra lbs.
Who is walking around the ship with dw,Kathy and me on deck 4 [the promenade deck/track] Thursday morn.@ 7:00 am for our morning walk.
REMEMBER 3 times around on deck 4 = 1 mile. We would to do 4 time around, it takes about 22 minutes for us........C-U-there.
PS .......then we go down for some bisquits and gravey for breakfast.......
As for that boss, where you work at...Ill call him tomorrow.
And as for the meeting place, you can't miss it,it is on the same deck as you come on the ship to.......deck 3. I do hope you all will have a great time.

Tell MALACHI, Ill be his "eating buddy", I'll be 64 in Dec. and I have the same problem.....not the growth spurts.....but I never can get full some times.
ALLISON, here is another story I like to tell you. Back in 06, a western cruise on the MAGIC, this family who's table was next to our's would order every thing....YES, every thing on the menu. Come to find out she had her own travel agency in Jacksonville Fa.and she said you can ,the waiters don't mine at all. So you know what old DON did one night after getting that info...... MALACHI, you should have been there..................
