:cool1: Yankee914 has the 300th post for our thread!!! :cool1:

CathyV, we have Capt Marvins booked for the 2 1/2 hour trip to Stingray City. So far the customer service has been excellent. They respond almost immediately to my email questions. It is also alot cheaper than going through DCL.

6 weeks to go!!!

Goofy Cruisers, some of us who are getting into town early are going to meet at Grill's (it is a restaurant right at the port) on Friday night. You are welcome to come as well if it fits into your schedule. We haven't decided on a time yet, but as it gets closer, I am going to try to get a headcount and set a time. Then we will call the restaurant and try to make arrangements. :cool1:
Bummer we will still be in Jersey on Friday night making our list and checking it twice (packing). Have fun anyway and we will see you on saturday!

Borrowed this from our other posting replys!

Sea Grape Beach and Courtyard Beach (right next to each other) are in fine shape. They are beautiful and have a bunch of water sports to do right there. They also have showers, food, drinks, chairs and umbrellas. Umbrella rentals were $10.00 each and usually included a soft drink or water. The water was clear and sand soft. $4 cab ride one way per person from the dock. It was a great time. We were just there in January.

So glad that you were able to find information about Sea Grape Beach. We definitely plan on spending the afternoon there.

Hey all, 39 days and counting! Anyone get their documents yet? I've been noticing that some people that are crusing very close to us have already gotten them, anyone get theirs please let us all know. Talk to you all soon!

No docs yet...I am anxiously awaiting to hear if I have made it off the waitlist for early seating...they said they do not do that until 30 days out. Got 2 kids home with strep....glad they got sick now....thinking about packing.

Funny, I was thinking about starting to pack this weekend. Gonna do a little shopping, now that the dinner dress is casual, thinking about buying some capris and a couple of matching tops, instead of getting "dressed" every nite. Just want to be comfortable. I think I will still have to get dressed for the semi and formal nights, and also for our anniversary dinner at palo, so it will be 4 nights of comfort, lol. I really don't mind getting dressed, but it does make it a little easier, if after hanging by the pool, say like 4:00 I could go in, take a shower, and put something casual on for the rest of the night. DC, do you remember monchichi from our cruise last year? She emailed me last nite and said to say hi to you. Talk to you all later, bye for now.

Yes, I do remember her...tell her I said Hello also....I have learned nice casual is the way to go!!! Unless I get an early seating for the dinners, we will be doing the buffet every night and I can not see getting dressed for that!! The only dinner I might go to would have to be the lobster one. I wonder what night that is? Oh well...not going to dwell on it until 30 days or so out!!

Maybe I missed it on a previous post, why don't you like late seating? Our DD is 9, and I thought last year it would be too much, but she was eating all day anyway and early would have been way to early, and late, she ate a little something and went to the club after the appetizer, it worked out perfectly. She went to the club after eating a little something and she didn't leave there until 1 a.m. We have late this year can't wait.

Conversely, I'm hoping that our TA changed us to late seating (though it seems that's generally the easier one to get).

While I’m not officially packed yet, I didn’t bother to put the suitcase away after my business trip in January and I’ve been throwing stuff in there ever since. You know, the stuff that I’m not going to use until the cruise and definitely don’t want to forget. Like the packable woven hat I just bought. princess:

We are traveling with our 10 year old triplets - two boys and one girl. Am curious to know where Jillie is from because we are from Bedford, New Hampshire. The docs came in the mail today and the only excursion I have booked is Captain Marvin's Stingray Bay. Does anyone have suggestions for excursions interesting for 10 year olds? I have booked rooms with both Radisson and Best Western - thought I would get the Avis rental convenience at the Radisson but they moved locations. Does anyone have any comments about these hotels and which they prefer. We're staying a couple nights to see Kennedy Space Center. Thanks!

Welcome DaisyMae!

I'm so excited to hear the docs are coming! We're still waiting to hear if we got switched to Main seating yet too.

Welcome to our thread!! the Raddison is the hotel closest to the ship...they offer shuttles to the port, but you have to sign up ahead of time by calling and finding an available time. It is nice...although I prefer the location of the Hilton for extended stays. the Hilton is right on the beach. If you search these boards you will probobly find the answer to any question you may have.....in particular to our cruise...just go back through the thread...there are alot of experienced cruisers as well as newbies....and plenty of kids!! Welcome aboard mate!!

I booked our cruise through cruise.com. I was surprised how early the docs arrived and that was good because it forced me to think about excursions. I booked the banana boat on Castaway Cay and the Fury Catamarran on Cozumel today. I noticed they were popular on this forum. Anyone have comments on either?

Welcome aboard!

We had friends who did the Fury Catamaran on our last cruise. They loved it so much that we are going to do it on this cruise. I'm sure you will have a great time.
