We will be at AK on 04/18. Park hours are 8am-8pm. Sunset is 7:45pm. Is Disney lighting up Pandora at night? There wold only be a short time to see the night time ambiance, but is Disney even lighting up Pandora?

1. BUT... at "sunset" the sky is still virtually full daylight.
It takes up to 35 minutes after "sunset" for the sky to become dark.
You can still hang around awhile after park closing time, but not "too long."
The best way to see this would probably be to get in line for FOP at like 7:55... then, by the time you are leaving the ride, it will probably be much darker outside than it had been

Great! Just make sure to be in the general Pandora area before 7:55... the last thing you want is to somehow get blocked - maybe a path you were planning on taking is closed off, and you have to detour or something - and then it’s 8 PM or later. I might know from experience
