Hi Colleen. I cant help you with the fish extender thing. I haven't done it and I am not participating this cruise. Although it sounds like fun.
My DD is 10. She is so looking forward to being back on the ship and in the kids programs. She will be 11 in May. She will be in the 10-12 group, so if your DD would like to email her I can PM you her address. Let me know.
Last time we cruised she made 2 friends beforehand and has remained penpals (through email of course!) with them.

Cant wait to cruise again.
I have a friend whos mother lives in FL and sees the ships leave every weekend from her patio. She calls me to say "my mom wants you to know the Magic looks good." AAHHHH, it's the little things in life that bring me such joy.

Don't be afraid of ships. I've been on one. Of course it hasn't gone out to sea, but ships are very safe. I have three daughters going on the trip. My oldest (Jamie) will be 11 in June. Her two sisters (7&4) are a little young for her to hang around with and they'll be in a different age group anyway.

Thats actually good to hear that your part of the mean mommy club, especially with teens!!! My son is 14 and really into skateboards and dirtbikes. Is that something your boys are into? We don't use im because it has screwed up our computer a few times! I'm not even to sure why. Can I ask you, what is the "fish extender"???

Sorry, Michelle, I delete B&S after I watch them so we don't have any from November. They have been reairing them now that they've run out of episodes and I know they did the first couple already, November's should be coming up soon.

Ugh, one side effect of my son being in preschool is that he's missing his morning nap. So he's beyond exhausted right now but can't get himself to sleep. And let me add, this is a kid who LOVES his sleep. He sleeps a good 12 hours every night and takes 2 naps everyday, about 1.5 hours each. Well, he did take 2 naps, till he started school on Thursday. Making the change to one is not easy for him at all.

Hi Colleen,

My boys love going over to the local skateboard shop. They've got a mini-half pipe thing in there that the guys love skating on. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get them over there more than about every few months. So while they like the idea, it's not something they get to do often.

I understand being nervous about IM if it's messed up your computer. Of course, the kids could email back and forth. Or they could call on cell phones. I like my guys having cell phones becuase they can give out their numbers and I don't have to worry about someone being able to do a reverse lookup for their address. Whatever you're comfortable with, I know they'd love to "get to know" some kids before the cruise.

It's our first of any cruise. I had a bunch of friends the last couple of summers that went cruising together and they kept encouraging me to come along, but I kept telling them, "nope... I'm saving myself for Mickey".

I'll try to remember to get the guys to PM your kids after I get home from the gym tonight. Gotta keep working out so I don't look like a theater curtain in a formal.
