Can we maybe add a column to the spreadsheet to keep track of who wants to participate in fish extender giving?

I've read in other threads how people did gifts for the kids only - that would bum me out since DH and I have no kids.

I think that looks great. I was just thinking, how about just having the lime green mickey heads without bodies. This way we could just write in names. Just a suggestion.

I LOVE IT! That's a great idea, the mickey head with family names in it! I can't wait to hang it up! Keep up the magic.

I think the heads without bodies would look a little strange as they'd be just floating around. It would look as if we all lost our head on the cruise (btw.... y'all know the rule, right? What happens on the cruise stays on the cruise ).

But I like your idea. I think what I'll do (hope it's okay with Joan) is lift her stick figures but put DIS heads on them. I'll give it a try and post the results.

And thanks... I'm really enjoying doing this. Today when I'm not updating the picture I'm doing digiscrapping. I'm having a blast!!!

My idea is that there's a whole bunch of DISsers going on this cruise and we could all have this as one of our door magnets. I'm still going to also use the one I posted with my family's "alter egos" on it. But if someone wants one with just their family in these cartoon figures, I can do that too.

Hello to all again- I haven't been contributing much to this thread over all these months, but I've been reading all the posts to try to keep up. Just came back from WDW - my 2 DDs participated in the Disney Magic Music Days with the high school band and chorus. There is nothing as exciting as watching your kids march and play through Disney World and sing at the Candlelight Processional. It was so emotional! Now that their trip and the holidays are behind us, I can focus on the cruise.

Our friends are coming also, with their DD11 and DS 7, their first Disney cruise. Hypermommy - the work you are doing on the signs is incredible! Anty, what site did you find the pirate costume for $12.50? I can only find one for $24.50 in boys sizes? Thanks everybody, for keeping this going! 95 days to go!

Sure, be glad to. But I'm not sure I understand (need more coffee). You want the names of the folks in your family? Or you want the last names of the DISsers that are going to be on the cruise? And do you want the names on the Mickey heads or just somewhere on the picture?

BTW, someone asked if we were going to only do gifts for the kids. I hope not. I'm going to try to pick up enough stuff so I can be giving stuff to adults and kids. It might only be a pencil (i.e., buy a pack of 4 for $1 and split them up to help control costs) but I'm going to be sharing the magic with everyone regardless of age. I know I sure don't want my kids to have all the fun. This is my cruise. I won it. They just happened to be born to a lucky mom, that's all.

(which is kind of funny becuase now they say things like "I love you cruise ticket, er, mom)

Hi all. I am in for the "fish gift" exchange. Add me to the list, Joan! Are we telling what we are giving or are we keeping it a secret? Let me know. I am going to have to make a fish extender...I don't sew so I am going to have to use fabric glue or fusable web or something of the like. I guess I will be hitting the craft store soon!

Just a reminder to all that I have lime green dis pins for everyone for our first dis meet on sat @ 2pm. They are big enough to write dis names, family names or first names on them if you like.

Hey by the way, I am nervous about associating our cruise with showers and umbrellas...I don't want any rain!!!! and I have got to get on board (no pun intended) with the weight loss thing...time is ticking away....good intentions will get me nowhere!

I think we are sticking with our original plan of hanging out by the pool @ CI & S for friday and dinner at Grills..no wdw for us...we will be going to WDW for christmas in Dec so that magic can wait.
