April 18th, 2009! - PATRIOT'S OF THE CARIBBEAN - Western Magic!

Hi everyone! Looks like I'm a PARTY CRASHER! (this is my very first post, so I apologize in advance for any misitakes) We're from Ohio, and are looking forward to this cruise. This will be our second cruise. . .we did the 4 day Wonder last year and immediately rebooked. My son will turn 14 on the cruise and my daughter will be almost 11 when we cruise. There is another family joining us--it will be their first cruise. They have 2 sons one will turn 9 on the cruise and the other will be almost 11. Look forward to getting to know all of you!

Welcome!!!pixiedust: I also have a son who will turning 14 and a daughter 11!!! Also an 8 year old so he will be in the same clubs with your friend's son!! Its such a nicer cruise when the kids find someone their ages to hang out with...that's what happened on last month's cruise and my husband and I got time alone:banana:

THANKS EVERYONE FOR MY BIRTHDAY WISHES!

I am having a terrible time getting notified when posts are made and I keep forgetting to check back! Sorry for the that.

deboss - first,

:cheer2: WELCOME TO THE DIS!!! :cheer2:

Welcome to the thread! I Love Ohio! :grouphug:

Welcome back yogibigdog!!!

cctimmom - I keep telling myself the same thing - we're not old - but I did just also have our anniversary and I told my husband that I loved that he still loved me after my warranty expired :flower3:

STS51 - Totally great thing to do with an inheritence! What a great way to remember her! I really love that!

Not only is this a huge group from MA (and OHio) but also a huge contingent with children in the same age range!

I've gotta run, and there is a good chance I won't get to this soon, but if anyone has any time on their hands, you may want to create a log of the people who have checked in and their kids ages. It would be fun to see. If no one has done it, I will get to it at some point, so never fear, it will get done. I just wanted to throw it out there that that is one super helpful thing to have, prior to the thread getting to page 100, which is usally when I get around to it.

I noticed the kids all in the same range... My daughter (if I ever refer to her as CC, instead of DD, it's cause those are her initials)... 17 kids that have been accounted for so far, and pretty much fall in the same ranges - I think it's going to be great for them (well, of course it will be -- it's DISNEY!)

11 months and 3 days (although I think we will be flying down as soon as school gets out on the 17th)

Hey All

Stop gate crashing our Honeymoon cruise!! lol . . . .

Your invited to come. . . . we would love to see you guys there!!!

For everyone on this board - meet Diana (aka DisneyBride'03), we met on Dis boards last year and chatted until well until right up until meeting at WDW and then cruisin together in Feb.
They were the first people to celebrate our engagement on Feb 9th this year on the Disney Wonder!

I was going to say... I'm sure there's more room on the boat for you :cool2:

:goodvibes Thanks..I know..however not sure if their is more money in DH's wallet to help support and finance my Disney trips!:lmao:
Tried..or trying to coordinate something with jontheref:)

However, I know he will miss me on this cruise, and all his pre trip planning on this thread....popcorn::

We know the feeling... we rather impulsively booked this trip at the AAA Travel Fair, and after the renovations we have done on our house (windows, new office, etc), we like to say that we are "waiting for the money tree to bloom again.".... man, those things are NOT like daffodils, which pop up every year!... lol:shamrock:

Our local Home Depot are currently out of those Money Tree's! Darn! There is never a good season for them to bloom here in IL!

That's my plan. . .find some kids for them to hang out with and then I'm off to Palo's, Martini tasting and hopefully some adult evening entertainment-none of which we particpated in last cruise.

Well he will miss all the pre trip planning and have to say I still think I might be able to talk you round...... hmmmm I wonder!!!!!!

Are you sure that your Cruise in May will be as fun as cruising with me?????

Make sure you book a brunch a Palo's. We actually enjoyed that more than dinner this time.:yay: The 7night is much different than the 3/4 day cruises. YOU WILL have FUN (without kids)!!!!! I just wish it was sooner. The family we met on the last cruise didn't like the Martini tasting. She said there was only one she drank...Now the Margarita one!!!!!:rolleyes1

wait wait wait... there's a MARTINI tasting?!?!? (and a margarita tasting?!?)

WA-WHO!... I'm so there (while the kids are having fun doing their own activities, of course!)

Has anyone on here heard of or done Fish Extenders before??????

We took part on our first cruise and it was great! Therefore would love to again . . .

Hi everybody, we will join you.
We just got off the Western 4/19-4/26 and rebooked for this vacation.
We are me, Marion (at the time of the cruise 38) and my husband Michael (37). We got married at the last cruise and thought it would be nice, to have our first anniversary at the same place as our wedding.

We are from Germany, so please excuse my bad english.
:wave2:
