pershing, I have to chime in too about pushing you to go ahead and don't fear doing the FE with a guarantee status. We changed our stateroom number right there in the terminal because we upgraded after downgrading twice during the planning of the trip! Talk about confusing! Yet everyone had our number just fine!!! We dropped our stuff off to people the first day and put a note in to everyone about the change! I also called everyone's staterooms (we didn't have that big of a list of people - maybe 20 or so) Even if something didn't get to us, I certainly didn't notice as we were overwhelmed with goodies!!!

Not doing FE this trip cause it's a big ship!

Awwww, come on now... it's not that big a ship. The Oasis, on the other hand... wowzers! And, after such a nice encouraging post to pershing. Besides, doing the FE is a good excuse to see the rest of the ship! Just think of all the wonderful exercise you'd get! And, it's also a great time to see all the door decorations! Plus, aren't your kids going to wonder why they're not finding any goodies during this cruise?

All kidding aside, you still have nine months to change your mind since the cut off date is 4-1-11. In the meantime, I'll keep my fingers crossed that you do!

Actually, the real reason is that this is the second leg of my back to back cruises. Things are complicated enough doing my first back to back ever and figuring that out, to have it be a good idea not to make it even more so carrying that many gifts around too.

Right now we're B2B 4/17 & 4/21, same cabin on both cruises, but we're not 100% sure we'll keep the 4/21. Depends on if I still have a job by then. Definitely doing the 4/17, though!

I hope you have your job as long as you wish yourself. Our economy seems to be picking up very very slowly...I hope it works out for you!

Quiet here on this thread..... hope everyone is enjoying summer. We are heading to Virginia Beach sunday for 10 days. I am hoping there is a breeze! This heat wave is really something. My kids did a chalk art contest at the local library on June 30th and I walked by it this morning and they are still intact, not a drop of rain in over a week! Everyone stay cool.... almost to the 9 month mark. Keep Dreaming!

So my husband, Mr. Non-Dis guy, was actually thinking it would not be right not to do a FE!! I said, honey, do you know how big that new ship is? he said, well, it actually wasn't that bad delivering everything last time and we had a big list.

OK, so I will be yo-yo'ing on this decision a little longer

and I will keep tiptoeing around the thread too! Summer is my more prolific DIS time because work slows down.

Hope you had a good time in the World. Hope you enjoyed the pools to stay cool. Didn't miss much here, everyone must have done too much partying over the 4th , it has been very quiet here! I am off for 10 days at the beach and our laptop battery just died yesterday, so will be without internet the whole time. Yikes!

They might have a "business center" at your hotel with Internet service, this way you would not have to go via a "withdrawal" I check disboards daily (and some days=a few times ), yes - it is very addictive. : . Have a great trip and keep on DREAMing

if a non-Dis guy wants to do FE, you MUST take part in it! You can not deprive your man of it! And he will not complain about extra luggage (filled with FE goodies ) bs it was HIS idea. I, on the other hand, still have to do some convincing
